Petition: Stop Larry Johnson from being the Chiefs all time leading rusher
Let us start with the point: We do not want Larry Johnson to become the Kansas City Chiefs all time leading rusher. As a fan base, we have always taken pride in some of the names that have played on our field, hung in the Ring of Honor and those that are now immortalized in the Hall of Fame at Arrowhead Stadium. Names like Bobby Bell, Christian Okoye, Willie Roaf, Lenny Dawson, Priest Holmes, Abner Hayes and the amazing Derrick Thomas. These are just a few of the names that will live forever in the hearts and minds of Chiefs fans everywhere.
We are asking you, as fans of this team, this organization, and of the pride that this city has in the Chiefs, please deactivate Larry Johnson. Please do not let his name sit atop the all-time rushing leaders in Kansas City Chiefs history.

I really do not know if this will have any affect on Pioli.
But it certainly won’t hurt. hopefully everyone will sign this and at the very least Pioli will know that there will be many fans that will support the deactivation or release of LJ.

I hope this works!
After reading that this is supposedly done yesterday, I am more angry than ever.
Get rid of LJ!!!
It is a new Era at Arrowhead. I do not yet know if it is one of greatness or one of ineptitude. I am excited to see which way it goes, and will support my team until the end, bitter or sweet!

but I am not sure how effective it will be.

I was wondering if there was more than one petition
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?

Pioli reads his letters from fans
and I have a hunch he reads AP.

Schizophrenic much?
Anyway, the petition is up to 8000 signatures. Looks like Jamaal Charles signed as well saying “Put me in Coach”. Yes, this petition is a joke and has no legal merit whatsoever. You can sign as many times as you want as long as you make up an email address. There is also no CAPTCHA, so someone could easily make a spam bot to sign the list every 3 seconds or so with a random fake name and random fake email. Only a matter of time before that happens, especially if ESPN picked it up. The search for the Larry Johnson petition is also Top 5 in people on Bing.
Again if 8000 people said they would buy season tickets if Pioli deactivates LJ for the rest of the season, it might happen. But that will never happen. I don’t mean to be blunt, but I don’t want you guys to get your hopes up for something this very unlikely to happen.

I think everyone knows its not going to do anything...
EXCEPT: it is just another naggin voice to the media and pioli that LJ isnt welcome here. You have to think that if it comes up a dozen times a week for the rest of the season, Pioli is going to want to make some sort of move.
As they say: The squeaky wheel gets the greese

Im not signing this. LJ has won games for us when they considerably could have been losses. Even though his actions through the past two weeks have been unacceptable, he came into this season wanting that title. As a Chiefs fan, you cant help but admire him for that. If he would have had an oline that would block, this incident will have never happened to tell you the truth.
Im not defending his comments, because his comments to the fans were stupid on his part. He has a right to bash the coach, even though I like Haley, he has a point. But they say, “Those who cant do, Teach”…..

the petition isn't liable.........
too many fake names, only way for a petition to look viable is to go around kansas city and get real names and the county they live in
Since when did chiefs fans turn into Yankees fans?

Wow, the number is now up to almost 20,000
I know there are bound to be a lot of fakes but 20,000 is still a crazy high number.
It's a good thing Pioli and Haley aren't running AP or a lot of you guys would of been traded or cut for cast offs from the Pats Pulpit.
