Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel Inactive Again

Despite running pretty well in pre-game warmups, Kansas City Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel is listed as inactive once again.  LB Andy Studebaker will once again get the nod in Vrabel's place.

Other inactives for the Chiefs:

  • RB Dantrell Savage
  • LB David Herron
  • LB Justin Rogers
  • G Andy Alleman
  • TE Jake O'Connell
  • TE Sean Ryan
  • QB Matt Gutierrez (3rd QB)

Injury related: Savage, Rogers and Alleman did not participate in practice last Friday and were listed as out for today's game.  Vrabel was limited and listed as questionable. Herron was listed as questionable with a knee injury.

Non-injury related: TE Sean Ryan is again a healthy scratch.

WR Quinten Lawrence was called up from the practice squad yesterday and is active in today's game.

Notable inactives for the Chargers include RT Jon Runyan, DE Luis Castillo and former Chiefs RB Michael Bennett.

looks about right to me

Maybe QL can get a reverse or maybe return some kicks?

Ryan has to be pretty much done as a Chief, right?

* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season

I could live with never seeing Ryan touch the field again.

I can see QL coming in as a decoy on at least one fake reverse, and maybe they’ll hand one off to him as well.
