Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

Chiefs fan in San Diego!

Just wanted to start off by saying that I love A.P.  I don't write much, but I'm reading often. I love hearing all of the different opinions and viewpoints of where we are, and where we think we are headed. Just for the record, I would be a Kool-Aid addict. I don't think it can be stressed enough how important it is to bring in winners. I love the approach of the G.M. on down to the players. When you set the blueprint of an organization and the expectations of the players-you need to stick to those core principles. That's what they're doing.

Of course there will be rough spots and rough weeks, but the team on the top of the mountain didn't fall there. In today's "Instant Gratification" world, people expect winning immediately. The most important thing right now is progress, and it's hard after last week for everyone not to see that progress is being made.

As far as FA and the draft I've come to one conclusion - We are going to get better and I trust the guys in charge to make decisions that will ultimately lead us back to the top. But my wish list is... Vince Wilfork. Signing Wilfork to a multi-year deal would solidify the D-Line for years to come and make everyone else around them better.

Star-divide

I also strongly believe that the better our record the lower we might draft, but that's also less guaranteed money to a rookie and more towards any free agents.

I'm living in Charger-land and working at a sports memorabilia store about 2 miles from Qualcomm-and wearing a Cassel Jersey by the way. So I get the beautiful pleasure of talking about our Chiefs everyday to Charger fans. They actually have some pretty good things to say about where they think we are headed just so you guys know.

I strongly agree with a post from Krayfish about turnovers and penalties. I don't know the stats but a well-coached team that may be undertalented against some of the teams they're playing can't beat themselves in those areas. We are disciplined in an area that some struggling teams without proper leadership are failing. I'll be waiting for our Chiefs to come down here Sunday and I'll be there to see the game on Sunday.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

Love it! Bring us a "W" in SD!

It is astonishing to me how much different KC is since one month prior when we played SD last. I 100% believe we can win and hope we represent.

Agree

We’re a completely different team now. Not there yet, but making strides in the right direction.

Hey bajah

Im flying out to SD tomorrow with my girlfriend to meet up with her brother and his wife. They are driving down from LA so we dont have an actuall local.

Do you have any ideas as to where we should pregrame? Cheep beer would be the main criterea for me. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Don't blame me, I voted for content of character.

McGregors

Haven’t been here too long but I’m not sure the word cheap and San Diego go too well together. It’s not aggieville out here. But to pre-game I’d go to Mcgregors, it’s right by the stadium and the tram is right by there, and I think it’ll take you to the stadium. Get there early though because the place gets packed. They show every game and at 10am its packed. I personally miss the noon starts.

Yeah, its not my first trip to SD

so i fully understand what it costs to have a good time. Im just trying to avoid 8 dollar beers untill i walk into the stadium! Thanks for the tip!

tailgate

you gotta do it in the parking lot with the Charger fans. It aint Oakland. We’ve gone to every Chiefs Charger game in SD since 92. It used to be 50% Chiefs fans. These are the biggest bandwagoner fans. Get a cheap ice chest from 7-11 get your self some beer and a couple shots and your good to go. Have fun. You can talk chiefs family members into giving you your pass when they have food for them after the game before they get on the buses. you will meet almost the whole team and coaches.

If the Chiefs

are not totally pumped to beat the charger’s asses, then I will be suprised. I expect, if not a win, a chargers team that wished they had not experienced the chiefs on their way to a playoff run.

Go Todd Haley!

HEEY!

Im going to the game and Im fuckin pumped. I hope we humiliate the chargers! Three in a row? That would be tremendous progress. Hopefully Chambers breaks out, but it’s ultimately up to the defense in my opinion.

Oh I'll be there too!

LF10, row 3. Last year I was row 1 but couldn’t afford them this year. Me, my mom, my brother and my gf will be tailgating. Not quite sure where, but if anyones interested lemme know. I was planning on rocking my D-Bo jersey, but since he’s suspended I’ll be wearing my Cassel. My mom and gf with my two D-Bos, and my brother in his dirty Cromartie jersey…

SD Chief is exactly right!!!!

All about the defense this weekend. Our offense will have to play well but, we need to get at least one turnover to win this game. Jamal Charles and the Chiefs defense will have to be the difference makers if we are going to pull out a W this weekend.

Sadly, I live in SD and I go to the game every year

but work is killing me and I have to miss it this year. Booooo!
