Around SBN: Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire Vow To Fit In With Lin

Said Chiefs S Jon McGraw of beating the Steelers, "Up until this game, we've been asked to believe that this was going to work without having seen a lot of success. Now, having this, it gets maybe the guys that were on the fence to buy in or believe this is headed in the right direction."

3 wins never looked so good...

This is morbidly depressing but that 3-7 record brings a smile to my face…

McGraw's a stud

He made a couple of nice open field tackles and did a good job of coming up and delivering big hits on Sunday. Definitely an upgrade over Page in that respect. I’m not sure how his coverage skills compare but I haven’t seen him blatantly out of position yet.

I really enjoy watching McGraw

and other guys that have to fight to stay on the roster every year. Makes them play mean and hungry. Some of the high draft picks just turn out to be overrated primadonnas that barely earn their paychecks…………

I'm a big fan of McGraw,

Every hit he delivers just makes you go “OH MY GOD”
And he can wrap it up, too.

Absolutely

I’ve always liked his attitude and spirit. He is the sort of guy that just needed the time to learn, but didn’t get the opportunity because of the more athletic guys in his position. I don’t like to see that he got his opportunity due to injury, but I’m more than happy to see that he is still starting. I always bristled at the negative wisecracks toward him. He seems like a common guy who just plays because he loves the game.
