McDaniels talkin smack

Denver Broncos coach Josh McDaniels talking trash about San Diego Chargers

“JoshYou gotta think Denver Broncos Josh McDaniels was second-guessing himself after his team got trashed 32-3 by the San Diego Chargers yesterday, particularly for one incident that supposedly occurred before the game even got started, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Star-divide

When McDaniels was walking past the Chargers' linebackers before the game, he supposedly said, "We own you." And that didn't sit very well with the folks in San Diego, as you can imagine.

Outside linebacker Shaun Phillips(notes) told the paper, "I'm not surprised. He's a little cocky (rear end)... To say he owns us? I mean, you beat us one time. What has he really done in this league? He had a team 6-0 and now he's looking up at us from second place."

After the game, McDaniels had the response of a six-year-old when asked about the incident: "(They) talked to me first."

Hahaha

I bet he gets fired next year. Quote me on it next season. Seriously.

We may get beat too, but not like that. The Chargers didn’t even play that good. Denver was just terrible. Blame whoever you want, but the donks looked like an impotent football team.

LOOOL THEY TALKED TO ME FIRST??

Now that is hilarious. Lets humble him and drop him to 6-6 come our week. We know they won’t beat NYG.

Trash talking has it's place

Although I’ve never been a big fan of it, it is part of the game. However I don’t see it as a Coaches place to get involved with it, He’s supposed to be above it. The more I see of McDaniels the less impressed with him I get the whole “they started it” just kind of shows me that He’s a bit immature for the job, He is the one that’s supposed to control what his players do and yet he’s out there acting more like a drunken fan.

When they started off 6-0 I thought maybe he was maybe better than I gave him credit for, but it seems that the new has worn off and he has to start doing the job now. There’s a thing about management, it has been proven that you can get people to over archive when there are changes about them. I think this is exactly what happened to the Broncos, The new leadership came in, took some hard stance’s and proved that things will be different. That got them fired up and they got lucky at the right times and were successful. Then the excitement wore off and they came down to earth, the short term fixes didn’t last and now they are playing as they really are. There is no time and place for a Head coach to be talking trash, it is His job to make sure his team can back up the trash they talked and on that point he has failed them.

is it me? or isn't about time the Lamar Hunt trophy belonged to His team?

This Chiefs team is closer to a new expansion team than it is a playoff contender, your expectations should match that.

how ironic it could be

if Mc Daniels turnes out to be the giant douche every body thought Haley was & loses the team & they go into the crapper for the next couple of seasons while Haley pulls it together, the Chiefs win out and begins the dynasty?

maybe it’s already happening!

maybe i’ve drank too much Kool-aid…..: D

McDaniels had the response of a six-year-old when asked about the incident:

Of course, that’s because he IS a six year old. Look at him.
