The fight...

There is one thing that has become very clear to me in in the last few weeks. For everything this team lacks it has developed one very important characteristic, fight. Seriously, look at how far this team has come from the disfunctional display the Chiefs were bringing to the field. At times I found myself saying "Boy we are really terrible" and wondering if maybe the Raiders were closer to winning than we were. Say what you will about Haley's coaching style but for some reason he has gotten these guys to play with heart and, what I feel, is a college like intensity. These guys are ready to play no matter the outcome from the last weeks game, the last half, the last quarter or even the last play. They are ready to fight for even the smallest shred of respect from it's fan base and the rest of the leauge. They are fighting no matter the score, no matter the time remaining. I know yesterdays win is not going to be some "big turning point" but it certainly is an encouraging point in the right direction. Today is a brighter day for the Chiefs and their fans and hopfully it is the beginning of a brighter future. Keep fighting and Go Chiefs!

One thing I might argue...

This could very well be a huge turning point. A win like that goes a long way and players have proof that they can beat any team. Knowing you can do something and thinking you can do something are a world apart. Good post.

If everyone worked as hard as me, I would be out of a job.

I agree BidRedChief

I think this team does have a college feel because of all the youth.
The mistakes are something young guys can correct with proper coaching.
Good mentors like Vrabel and Waters, good coaching will let thes youngsters grow the right way. I think that is why a large number of guys are gone from last years team.

We Will kick at least 4 Teams Asses in 09. Almost there :)
And Succop will be the Key in two of them. Skins & Raiders! Pittsburgh Sweet!
