Tomlin, "Where are you at?"

Ben, “I’m at the game coach”

Tomlin, “And who are you?”

Ben, “I’m Batman…Would you like to ride with Batman?”

Not goin anywhere for a while?

10/19/09: The Chiefs are on their way to an 11-5 season...I think....
10/26/09: Okay, so it'll be 10-6, I can live with that...
11/9/09: So KC spots the league 7 games. 9-7 is respectable.

Whoa

Will Ferrell’s really let himself go.

+++++

My thoughts exactly. My screen locked up at that exact moment yesteday while watching the highlights.

All joking aside…All of these QBs sustaining head injuries this year is going to force the league to make the rules against attacking Qbs even tighter. Is that even possible?

I don't believe this was an issue of attacking/protecting the QB.

It’s unfortunate what happened and I hope he’s okay, but he ran for it and they tackled as they normally would for ANY other player. He put himself at risk. The way the tackle happened was just random as most things in football when you got large people colliding all game.

If u ain’t first, your last!…..and I am want to be called El Diablo from now on…

We're streaking around the quad

(Raiders game 1 should be listed here, 409 yds off, we let them off the hook)
(Cowboy's should be listed here - They are who we thought they were)
Skins
Raiders game 2

Next victim?

“Coach?”

“Yeah Ben?”

“I don’t like the way that giant chicken is looking at me.”

“…..Tell Charlie to start warming up.”

In all seriousness, I hope he’s ok.

Prediction: Tamba gets 10 sacks this year.

See ya Later Larry Johnson, or now forever known as "2.7"

Yeah

That was a rough hit. I really hope he’s back soon.

by Joel Thorman on Nov 23, 2009 7:19 AM CST reply actions   0 recs

That was a similar hit that Tebow took vs. Kentucky.

… both took knees to the head. Only difference was Tebow’s head snapped back afterwards.

by ravenhawk on Nov 23, 2009 7:33 AM CST up reply actions   0 recs

Wasn't it the knee that got him?

Yup...

Ben was diving head first and one of our players when high hiting him solid with a knee while Ben was being drug down.

Studebaker (my new favorite Chief) sacked him

and Derrick Johnson went over the top and got him with the knee.

It seems that

A lot of the concussions come from players getting hit with the knee instead of helmet to helmet like you’d expect.

by Supersport on Nov 23, 2009 8:50 AM CST up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah.

How many helmet to helmet hits did Jamaal take? At least 2 that I can think of. Didn’t seem to phase him. But then again, Charles was in Beastmode yesterday.

It's years like this that I wish I was a bear. Hibernation would make it so much easier.

by Red N Gold Beast on Nov 23, 2009 9:54 AM CST up reply actions   0 recs

It definitely phased him

If you have ever been hit helmet-to-helmet you won’t forget the feeling — or the ring in your ears.

In all fairness

It looks like they were having him move his eyes from side to side to make sure he was ok. The pic makes it look like he was about to pass out.

Tomlin: Are you OK Ben?

Ben: Well, 1 of 2 things just happened, I either shit my pants or sat on my birthday cake…

Tomlin: Uh Ben, it is not your birthday and we didn’t bring a cake.

Ben: You should probably go get Charlie…

Go Chiefs!

and
