The best strategy for a Chiefs fan, then, is to put down the controller and seek refuge in the real world, where Chris Collinsworth's broken-record analysis cannot find you. He will tell you, you haven't lived until you've caught one of those high hard ones and had one of those clowns flip you upside-down!

Oh man how many times am I going to have to restart my Franchise this season?

I don’t play online, but I’ve been keeping up on the roster updates. The thing that sucks is that I have to restart my season in order to use the new rosters. My first attempt with the out-of-the-box rosters I started 5-0 and life was good. My 2nd attempt came a few week into the season after the 1st roster update. I simmed the games up to the current week and got off to a terrible start. My 3rd attempt was in week 5 or 6, and simming to the current week yielded a 2-4 record or something like that. And its taken me back to this week (where I actually beat Pittsburg 37-13 in a very rousing victory!!!), to get up to a very respectable 7-3 record.

For the past 2 games, I’ve just switched Kolby Smith and Larry Johnson on my depth chart instead of starting a new franchise once again just to have it wreck all of the victories I’ve worked so hard for.

And yes, I got raped by the 0-8 Raiders like 38-19 or something. I had to sim the 2nd half because I got so freaking pissed off that I couldn’t maintain my composure and nearly wrecked the living room before finally simmming ahead.

Anybody know how to drop a player from your roster on PS3? I can’t find the option ANYWHERE! it’s killing me. I’ve even set it to “manual” for my own team in the options but there’s no button to be seen that says anything about dropping a player!

are you talking about in-franchise dropping

or during the main menu? If you are in-franchise go to player management and then cut, you will have cap penalty though.

Holy Shit!!!...Peterson resigned...Am I dead?...Is This Heaven?

Where is the "cut" option under player management?

All I can do is cycle through a few different screens under player management, one of which is “player contract”. That’s where I’d figure I’d be able to, oh, I don’t know, manage a player’s contract! But nothing that I can see will allow me to cut a player during a franchise.

This is on PS3, by the way. Got any screenshots?

Of course

Not a problem.
