Another "abusive" coach makes headlines
Here is an article on KU football coach Mark Mangino and his issues with his temper. In this article/video former players accuse Mangino of being racist and just down right mean. I read in my local newspaper that Todd Reesing backed up his current coach to the press and school officials. I for one think it is similar to the problems Coach Haley has been having. We all saw Haley rip Anquan Boldin a new one in the NFC championship game last year and ever since thats what the media has focased on when it comes to Todd Haley, the anger. And didnt Boldin later dimiss the scuffle? But really it all comes down to production if your a winner than you must be doing something right. And again on Haley Iv seen him (can remember specifics) yell at a Chief player than later in the drive support him for a good play. So really all these "hard nosed" coaches (parcells-esque) can be nice, you just have to give them a reason to be. SO, will Mangino be let go after this season? If so where will he go? I dont really know and dont have the time to research it but depending on what Mangino's strengths are could he have a role on Coach Haley's staff? Maybe a OL coach, he could definitly help them bulk up.... I know Im just rambling on now....

Allow me to speak for Mizzou fans everywhere...
BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAH!!
Getting Coach of the Year in 2007 for beating Southeast Northern Montana Community College for the Deaf and Blind and then getting an extremely shady bid to the Orange Bowl that season while Mizzou gets punished for beating you and winning the Big 12 North…
Karma’s a real bitch, huh?

I'm not saying any of the stories are true about Mangino
but if they are I think it is something way different then what we have seen from Haley. The personal attacks that some former KU players are describing would be like if Haley had called LJ a “f-ing thug who’s better off spitting on women in clubs then running the football”. In my opinion that’s a whole never level then telling Brodie to “snap the f-ing ball” or telling Savage “you don’t want to play today, do you?”.
