Could this be the first off season where Chiefs fans look forward with more anticipation to the potential signing's of Quality Assistant Coaches than to Free Agents or the Draft?

Coaching is a HUGE need
The only thing that has kept me off the Fire Haley bandwagon (I know I’ve been super critical of him, but its because I WANT him to be a good coach) is knowing that most of his assistants were leftovers from the previous regime or guys off the street because Pioli, then Haley were hired so late.
Haley has a lot to struggle with because he is a young head coach who was hired for that job a few years before he was ready for it (in my opinion). So he needs some good assistants around him to help him out.

The first couple picks will be exciting but the coaching moves are going to be huge. At least they better be.
Exactly so
assistant coaches will be huge this off season
Romeo & Carthon as the DC and OC next year.
Bank on it. Or at least bank on Carthon for sure…. I think Haley is grooming him.
But seriously, the player talent is really, really, REALLY bad. This draft will be extremely telling for Pioli’s plan.
It's years like this that I wish I was a bear. Hibernation would make it so much easier.

I thought the same thing as far as Carthon
But if thats the case, what is he waiting for? How much “grooming” is needed?
If he knows the system, whats left but for Carthon to start calling plays and Haley correcting him as he goes?
And why isn't Carthon in the Booth?
Nobody answered on WHO is in the booth or besides Haley/Cassel on the headsets.
We Will kick at least 4 Teams Asses in 09
And Succop will be the Key in two of them. Washington & Oakland!
