Wish we could move this game to Arrowhead. Ya know the fans would give LJ the proper welcome.

by kc2win on Nov 17, 2009 3:12 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Yup it would probably be a sellout

Tons of fans would like to show there “appreciation”

all with signs saying

“2.7 4ever”

UCrawford will eventually calm down and realize that Haley isn't a bad coach.
Will embrace the Fire Haley Bandwagon if we lose to the raiders by more then a TD...
..But we aren't going to lose.
LJ will not land in Pittsburgh
The Chiefs will not be the number one pick in this years draft
The Chiefs first pick of the draft will NOT be a OL
Thinks UCrawford just needs a hug... offer is there when you are ready UC :p

Thats it.

I WAS still a Larry Johnson fan…even after all the shit he has been through. But enough is enough. Screw this guy. I AM OFFICIALLY A NON FAN ANYMORE lol. This dude is a joke. “Im gonna run all over those Chiefs” “I can’t wait to play them on Dec 27” yada yada yada. This guy needs to get decleated. I wish i could see the game but i will be at bootcamp, BUT i hope this guy gets knocked out and needs to be carted off the field.

I can't wait for Dec. 2.7

On Dec. 2.7…. 2.7 will run all over the place.

by ravenhawk on Nov 17, 2009 3:59 PM CST up reply actions

as long as all over the place

is only 2.7 yards long

boo.

I just don’t get bent out of shape about this. He’s saying the same stuff everyone says to motivate themselves and their team. I could care less what he thinks anymore. Is it really that big a surprise that LJ wants to beat the team that cut him? It’s a story for the public to eat up.

My long, drawn-out predictions that no one cares about, nor will bother to remember:

1. Todd Haley will still be the Chiefs Head Coach up to the 2011 season.
2. Clancy Pendergast won't make it to the 2010 season and was never intended to. Last-minute hire for a position that needed to be filled.
3. Todd Haley will not be the OC at the start of the 2010 season.

by jbj8609 on Nov 17, 2009 3:16 PM CST reply actions

That'd be a great Christmas Present for KC too...

holding him to under 2.7 yds per carry would help the Chiefs beat Cinci

* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season
* Stats are for losers

Why is there a press conference to introduce a 4th string RB?

Did Cheifs hold a press conference to announce they signed a backup long snapper?
Did they even have a press conference to announce Matt Cassel?

Just because it's a big name like LJ

(Or LJ demanded one).

Matt Cassel’s initial meeting with the media was when he was on the third floor on while the media was on the first floor on speaker phone. I don’t think he had a real press conference until like June.

by Joel Thorman on Nov 17, 2009 3:30 PM CST up reply actions

to create drama.

the press knows that LJ will say something stupid like this and it will stir shit up…just like the pre fight hype.

by Wrestler189s on Nov 17, 2009 3:30 PM CST up reply actions

I wonder

What LJ’s new coaches and teammates think about him already talking smack…before the ink is dry on his contract?

by Scott B. on Nov 17, 2009 3:32 PM CST reply actions

Especially since they've been in the trenches for 10 weeks together and playing very well WITHOUT him.

..LJ struts in and his mouth starts writing cheques, his overworked body can’t cash.

Stupid move in my opinion.

And...

Just how funny would it be if he’s deactivated for the Chiefs game…after running his mouth about how he’s going to run all over us?

by Scott B. on Nov 17, 2009 3:41 PM CST up reply actions

Heh

U got it first :)

Predictions:

Kansas City will not win more than four games in 2009
Kansas City will have a new OC and DC in 2010
Kansas City will win at least seven games in 2010

by jmcgoblue on Nov 17, 2009 3:44 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

Would be funny

If he’s deactiveated for the game

Predictions:

Kansas City will not win more than four games in 2009
Kansas City will have a new OC and DC in 2010
Kansas City will win at least seven games in 2010

by jmcgoblue on Nov 17, 2009 3:42 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

I can only hope that

LJ is the first NFLer to have to have dual femur compound fractures. I really hate him.

by Jew Boy on Nov 17, 2009 3:43 PM CST reply actions

LOL

They are too busy trying to get the league to allow them to put a decimal in between the 2 and 7. Maybe they will give him the number 2 for the number of white chicks he slapped.

Too funny. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

by NorthwestChief on Nov 17, 2009 11:39 PM CST up reply actions

He sees himself as a victim

Pathetic

Well

He is a victim.

Of his own stupidity.

isnt to a fa after the season. they should sign him too.

by pmwz on Nov 17, 2009 3:57 PM CST reply actions

Depends on Ced Benson.

They’ve got some other backs there, too…more than anything I think the Bengals just want to see if lightning can strike twice. I wonder if he even gets on the field; we’ll see.

Another interesting thought…isn’t Benson a FA at season’s end too? Is this some kind of gigantic hedged bet, just like Benson was in the first place?

It's on like donkey kong!

LJ really is not worth our time. However, I too hope he plays against us bacause it would be nice tackling a 15 YEAR OLD GIRL for a change!

by casselreadychiefs on Nov 17, 2009 4:15 PM CST reply actions

One thing that really bothers me!

Why don’t the Chiefs introduce new players in press conferences. The fans want to hear from them. They did not even do it for Cassel and Vrabel. I think it is a mistake.

LJ is probably being introduced since he has had so many issues so it is PR at work. Lewis did say that LJ might being active this weekend.

by casselreadychiefs on Nov 17, 2009 4:30 PM CST reply actions

His quotes are funny

because he will be at best the 3rd string running back behind Cedric Benson and Bernard Scott. So he will only see a few plays in which he will gain 2.7 yards on 4 carries to lower his season average!

by Primmtime on Nov 17, 2009 4:44 PM CST reply actions

What's funny to me is..

He’s probably going to get around 10 carries. Benson is the guy and he’s proved it all year. Why mess with that? Not really sure what they told 2.7 but you know his ego, he probably thinks he’ll be starting.

by King of the Cassel on Nov 17, 2009 6:32 PM CST via mobile reply actions

Can we take back Pollard or rent out Merriman for the game?

We know what they can do…Just wait when LJ sits the bench for a few games like he did in KC and see him whine for the Bungles…

by Ren on Nov 17, 2009 7:23 PM CST reply actions

LJ is the man!!!! Everyone needs to let it go!!!

Penn State to Kansas City...Always a winning combination.

by YNinja on Nov 18, 2009 12:33 AM CST reply actions

right....

If you consider “men” to be women beaters… then yes YNinja, you are correct.. LJ is THE man…

who cares about a 4th string rb

he’s basically the waterboy of the team

by kcchiefs19 on Nov 18, 2009 2:23 AM CST reply actions

Cincy has an O-Line

And LJ, as much as I despise him, has the potential to run over opponent is a hole is open for him. Sure, he won’t do it himself, but even if he gets just ten carries, there’s a lot of potential there for him.
