Mistaken Identity
Bengals must think it’s Pete Johnson.

Fitting.
Lewis barely runs the show over there and there’s room in that locker room for personalities like LJ. Lucky bastard is a hustler (and I’m not talking about when he runs the ball).

Boy if this wasn't a perfect fit
given all the misfits in that locker room….

well
when chris henry went down the bengals must have freaked out over the huge void left in the arrests/trouble department

perfect fit
maybe ochocinco needs to fight LJ in the cage instead of Anderson Silva
Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat

After yesterday's game
I definitely don’t think anyone is going to miss him around here.

I'm freaking out man
I got Benson in my fantasy league and dude’s carried my team this season. I don’t want to get screwed by LJ again.

biggest mistake I made...was not taking benson in all 3 leagues as I had planned
he just burned me before, so I was still a bit weary…I KNEW they fed rudi johnson the ball constantly with chris perry healthy so…obviously benson would get a heavy carry number..sigh..

I was wrong
I figured he would be headed to Philly…since Westbrook is likely done.

I've read several Philly fans that want him
but it just goes to show how little fans know about players on other teams. How could Philly use a back who is such a detriment to the passing game? Philly is all about the pass and they ask a LOT of their backs. Looking at the RBs receiving yardage through the years plus what they’re asked to do for protection. No way 2.7 with his attitude fits in Philly. It would be the worst place for him to go. But then, I think it would be such a disaster that I would love to see it.

HAHAHAHAHAH WATCH THEIR SEASON GO INTO THE TOILET
Do you really want to mess with your team when you’re 7-2?

Larry
Is going to be a good addition for them.
He won’t have to carry the load and will give them depth for the playoffs.
The Kitties of Cincy beat the Steelers twice.
Impressive.

LJ can't do a thing if he's not the featured back
And he won’t be the featured back there. He won’t do shit for them.
Predictions:
Kansas City will not win more than four games in 2009
Kansas City will have a new OC and DC in 2010
Kansas City will win at least seven games in 2010

LJ cant block, cant catch
and averaged 2.7 yards, and had the 4th worst season for a RB EVER with over a certain amount of carries…cmon…

It's quite a gamble by 2.7
I don’t think he’s going to be guaranteed playing time there. They’ve got a very good offense and the line would probably give him more opportunity with their line. I just wonder how it’s going to work if they start giving 2.7 more than a few carries a game. They could end up with a real locker room problem.

he’s never been a locker room problem…he’s just not very good anymore

I think the comments from a few players show he was
But it may not just be a 2.7 thing. I think Benson may be pretty protective of his situation and not very happy about 2.7 horning in on it.
And don’t totally discount 2.7s abilities. He can still make big plays with the right offense if he has the right attitude. Since he’s playing for a contract I expect we’ll get to see the very best he has to offer. I’m bracing myself for him to have a big day against us if he gets the chance.

Who?
Cassel vs. Thigpen in Camp should improve the play of both.
Linebackers: looking better
D-lineL slight improvement
O-line: WTF?!?

I just hope that when the Bungles come here
LJ is in the game and gets the holy living crap knocked out of him by Dorsey, Mays, Jackson, or anyone else. I wanna see him get decimated.

Perfect!
This gives Larry a short, but manageable 6 weeks to destroy the Bengals in time for the Dec. 27th game with the Chiefs!

Johnson's just a temp to let Benson get healed for the playoffs
Benson looked BAD yesterday when he came in and ran a sweep after the injury. Despite the optimistic spin from Mort and others, I don’t think he’s a go for the Raider’s game. There’s some local chatter that Benson had mild hip flexor problem for a few weeks, and aggravated it yesterday, so it may need a few weeks of rest to heal. The Bengal’s RB sub (Scott) ran OK yesterday but probably wouldn’t hold up well with > 20 carries a game for the next two or three weeks. The Bengals likely just want a big body to run between the tackles and have seen Johnson do well against the Raiders in the past.
I think when Benson is healthy again, Johnson gets cut. They wouldn’t need him for a backup RB, and aside from that he’s deadweight on the roster. Lot’s of schaudenfreude if Johnson signs, gets beat up for two or three weeks, then is cut just before the Bengals clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs.
