hip flexor strains can be painful as a mofo. He should be able to play through it but it definitely won’t be easy.

The specialists did pretty well

QB play was ok…Bowe and Chambers did well and Long was ok in the slot. It is the libe play that holds them back. And some drops.

I know that

Nothing you said was bad. My only point was to ask that we refrain from looking at all the negatives from the game and bask in the positives for a while. Namely, a win.

Indeed

We should have lost. A 3-0 turnover ratio and we were still up 13-10 at one time. That amazes and baffles me at the same time.

You left out my favorite thing

2 QB roll outs perfectly defended. We didn’t defend 2 roll outs correctly all of last year. Best progress I’ve seen to date. And our D held when we needed it to do so, something that also didn’t happen at all last year. Lot’s of negatives, but those were outstanding. I say that because I’m not ready to drink the Charles kool-aid yet. He still puts the ball on the ground too much.

I'm talking about how many times he lost the ball once he hit the ground

That’s an extremely bad indicator. He’s going to cost us a game if he doesn’t fix it. Lot’s of upside but he HAS to fix that.

He got hammered on that one though

Not an excuse but he was double teamed and took a hell of a shot.

The rest of the play will be used to show what idiots the Chiefs and Raiders are. I didn’t watch Olbermann but unless he ran out of time because of the late game he would use that one.

I liked the more agressive style of offense

We threw more down field today than usual. Chambers did well and D Bowe did well and the Raiders have a pretty good 2ndary. It wasn’t a great game…too many mistakes and dropped balls but I liked the more aggressive style.

I had a very good week

Even with MJD going all Brian Westbrook at the goalline.
That was a very risky move, being that they were down at the time. They hit the FG and they won, but what if it was blocked?

My first year of FF was the year before Marcus came to KC (92?). I thought it was time for a break.

Oh christ yeah...

Something tells me that game wont be anywhere near the spread… Unlike this one. My friend and I who bet on almost every primetime game I told him to just pick one and i would take the other, because it was gonna be so close and with a 2.5 spread anything can happen… I still won.

This space for rent.

If the Pats hadn't wasted 2 TO's

they could have challenged the spot on that 4th and 2, and it would have been close, but after having looked at it (thank God for DVR’s) a few times, I’m convinced that the officials spotted that ball too far back and the Pats had that first down. What a difference a challenge there could have made.
