Chiefs WR Bobby Wade Inactive Again
And once again Kansas City Chiefs receiver Bobby Wade is a numbers game victim. Wade is inactive today for the second straight game. Two weeks ago at this time, Wade was generally regarded as the Chiefs second best receiver but that has crashed since the arrival of Chris Chambers.
In six games this season with the Chiefs, Wade has 226 receiving yards and 20 receptions.
Other inactives for the Chiefs:
- QB Matt Gutierrez: Emergency 3rd quarterback
- TE Jake O'Connell: No surprise.
- CB Donald Washington: CB Mike Richardson gets the nod at the nickel.
- LB David Herron: Listed as out on the injury report.
- FS DaJuan Morgan: A little bit of a surprise, especially with Jon McGraw just returning from injury.
- LB Justin Rogers: Thought he would be activated over Pierre Walters.
- TE Sean Ryan: Leading receiver out of the tight ends. Interesting.
On the Raiders side, DE Greg Ellis is inactive. He has two sacks against the Chiefs in their first meeting.

* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season
* Stats are for losers
ok, well I only guessed right on Ryan... but that was a bold guess!
we’ll get a good look at Cottam and Pope today, hope they show up!!!!`

pretty shocked
about morgan…I mean, due to lacking depth at safety, its just a bit wild…maybe Mo Legg has a future at safety…
I really hate the washington pick in hindsight, I mean…if we took an OL there he prob is playing for us
Wade,,,,how is bradley more effective?
oh and go pierre walters his first game active
And good luck to pope/cottam ,sorry sean ryan tee hee
+1

Could someone tell me
How in the bluest of blue hells is Bobby Wade inactive again? Not only has he been more effective than Mark Bradley, but he has also doubled as a PR. No offense against Bradley, I really like the guy but damn we need THE BEST 53 to get some wins and some momentum for next year

MORGAN NO!
I want someone else in other than Brown.. Even Russel could destroy brown
He has to be in there for blitz packages
Because coverage is not his cup o’ tea anymore

Something on 610 radio that Wade can’t play Bowes spot if he got hurt but Bradley can. Sounds lame but maybe that’s why Bradley is getting the nod.

i agree with that
bradley is basically the cheaper version of bowe. Wade is primarily a slot guy but we’re trying out Long in the slot.
Ditto!
It would be nice to see an AP member have a good game. Hope he gets in & makes a play or two, at least!
Long time kool-aid drinker & too old to learn a new trick! No flip-flopping allowed!
No warm fuzzy here
when I see Mike Richardson’s name. He better show a LOT today, because he was horrible in the Chargers game.
In wondrous beauty, once again, shall the golden tables stand mid the grass, which the gods had owned in the days of old.
