A Couple Chiefs Upgraded on the Injury Report
The Kansas City Chiefs had six players on the injury report yesterday.
Today? Those six are still there, although a few have been upgraded.
Here's a run down of the Chiefs injury report:
Did not participate
- LB David Herron (knee)
Still not sure what the exact injury is, or how it occurred, but his status for Sunday isn't looking good right now.
Limited participation in practice
- LB Mike Vrabel (hip)
- OL Wade Smith (ankle)
Andy Studebaker has been filling in for Vrabel. Smith is the utility lineman so while his presence isn't necessarily vital, it would be a much needed boost.
Full participation in practice
- FS Jon McGraw (thigh)
- LB Jovan Belcher (head)
- WR Chris Chambers (foot)
McGraw practiced with the first team for the first time in nearly three weeks. He looks like he's getting ready to play on Sunday. Belcher suffered some head trauma last weekend so his appearance on the injury report appears to be precautionary. Chambers has been running fine in practice.

Make the most of it Studebaker
Make them notice you (in a good way). Earn yourself some playing time, even when Vrabel gets back.
I'm a Studebaker fan
I hope he stps it up and takes Vrabels job so we don’t have to use a high draft pick on an OLB
Time is a great teacher... unfortunately it kills all it's pupils.
Amen!
save Vrabel for the goal lone situations on offense…lol
Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!
I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.
How has Chambers been?
I’vebeen out of the loop lately

For only 1 game
he’s made as big of an impact as he possibly could have with the opportunity he’s been given. Thus far I would say he’s been Mark Bradley esque (2008)

Just shows the lack of deep threats KC had, before.
No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.
Probably another year
two would be really pushing it if he’s wanting to end on any sort of a high note.
Bask in the glory that is Kwame Harris. Poor Alex...
When did we get David Herron on the team? Never heard of him, seen him on the field, or seen anything on here about him.

he's a special teams guy
has made a couple tackles
He was picked up along with Mike Richardson a few weeks back
* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season
David Herron Out?
The team may as well not even make the trip to Oakland. We don’t stand a chance.
