Pollard told me this week that Herm Edwards had to call the Texans and other franchises and assure them that the knock on Pollard being spread by Pioli and Haley was false.

The question to me is...
Why won’t any KC press call haley out on this bs?

My take
Did Pioli and Haley send out some memo to all the other NFL teams saying “don’t sign Pollard he’s a locker room cancer”? I don’t think so. My guess is that teams probably called and asked why they cut him. I have no doubt that they told the truth and said something about him being kind of a loud mouth who had some issues with Haley’s style. To me that’s not spreading rumors or blacklisting, its just being honest about why you cut a guy who was talented enough to make the team.

I'm with you on this one.
I can’t imagine any GM/Coach doing that, with the exception of the Raiders. Like you said, most likely was an instance of they were asked about it. Obviously they had a reason, and they let them know. shrugs But we’ll likely never know what really happened.
Who...
Who is Bernard Pollard? Name sounds like a player I heard of before. From what I recollect I Dont think he was that good. Maybe it was Arena League.

This is disturbing
WOW, thats really going to lure the lucrative FA’s in next year. You dont “buy” into their game and then get let go and get trashtalked and rumors spread about you. WAY TO GO PIOLI. That was the first dumb move yall made.
