Around SBN: NHL Trade Rumors: Do You Make A Move For Rick Nash?

To All Of You I Say....Thank you!

With this post and my comment I will have completed a milestone that I am not always one to stay with.  Blogging is not my cup of tea unless I am very interested in a subject.  In other words, I don’t blog on anything but the Chiefs.  For 47 years I have watched and cheered the Chiefs on, beginning with the days sitting on my Dad’s lap, and now sitting in the room by myself – my kids are both teenage girls and the wife isn’t in too football. But one thing has always been very dear to me and that is the Chiefs.

My parents grew up in KC and were transferred to Memphis, TN before I was born. When the Texans moved to KC my Dad became an instant fan.  As I grew up as the runt in the family, my Dad knew I would be the football fan and did everything he could to indoctrinate me in not only the sport but the Chiefs themselves.

Over the years I have had relatives work for the Chiefs and have had access to many things most would not. Two times I was given free reign in the gift shop when I was 12 and 13 years old.  My room had no paint on it for the pictures I cut out of Pro Day magazine and other mags that I could find with Chiefs stories. I was able to meet different players like Bobby Bell, Len Dawson, Mike Bell and non Chief Conrad Dobler.

Anyways the point of this post is to say, I am about to make my 5000 comment on here today. I have been proud to be a member with you guys and a big thanks to the Thorman brothers. I appreciate having the chance each and every day to chat and debate with each and every one of you and do not ever take that lightly.

So with that I raise my glass to you all and say job well done and thanks for letting me be a part of your Chiefs experience!

Lanier63

PS: And the amazing thing is ya’ll let me keep coming back?

Thank you to the ArrowheadPride Community!!!

Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!

I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.

I agree Lanier....and your welcome.

I’d like to take this time to thank “me”. It’s because of “me” that Lanier has been able to excel on AP…

I know, I know Lanier….you can’t say enough good about me and I appreciate it.

Now hurry up and make it 5001!! (-:

Not only would I like to take the oppertunity to thank the Thormans

I’d also like to thank Lanier.

being one of the guys that was around before the site’s explosion in members this season, I’m going to go on record saying:

It’s not only the site and it’s moderators that make it the best Chiefs site anywhere; It’s also the contributions of the people that have been around a long time and continue to act as the consistent voice of greatness that draws in more and more people every day.

Lainer63 is one of the voices. He keeps this thing from spinning out of control by continuing to post meaningful and thought provoking posts and comments that show others what ArrowheadPride is all about.

Thanks Lainer63, and gratz on your milestone.

Lanier just posts when he has something meaningful to say! He’s not a yammer butt like you & I are, at times! :)

One of the guys that has helped to shape this place into what it is.

Congratulations Lanier,

I haven’t been on this site as long as you (I have been a fan for probably as long) but I learned really quickly that your posts are one’s that I take the time to read rather than just glossing over them or skipping entirely. Thanks for all of the good input!

Congrats Lanier

What can I say, I’m kind of new at blogging myself in fact never did it til AP. Yes, AP took my Blog virginity. I’m not sure how long it will take me to get to your mile stone, I don’t write post ,but comment on those written by people that I’m sure would do a better job than me. I’ve always had a fondness for Lainer63, because like me he’s been around the Chiefs a long time. I was 6 went the fever caught me back in 1969, and most of the things I see are from the Montana era fans. It’s kind of nice to have someone around that remembers games at the Old Municipal stadium. Someone that remembers when there were dark times before not just the last few seasons. So I say Thank you Lanier for your 5,000 post and for taking the name of one of the Greatest Chiefs ever.

is it me? or isn't about time the Lamar Hunt trophy belonged to His team?

I’m a Chiefs fan Dammit and I’m damn proud of it!
