Veterans Day

I just wanted to take a moment and say Thank you for serving to our veterans here at AP. I realize that this might not be the correct forum for this. But I wanted to extend this courtesy to our veterans.

Today is a day that we remember those that have served and that continue to serve our country. Please take the time today to reflect on those heroes that have given the ultimate sacrifice to this country. There have been many lives that are gone. There are many member of the Armed forces that are currently away from home.

I am remembering a few brothers in arms and I wanted to extend my thanks to those that are serving and those that have served in the military. Heroes truly are few and far between.

Again...My thanks.

And don’t forget that Applebee’s is offering a free meal to all veterans and current military. There may be other offers going on today, as well. Take advantage of it. If you’ve worn the uniform, and sworn an oath, you deserve it!

oh yah...today's our day huh?

I don’t get the day off so I always forget it! Well thank you to all my brothers in Arms…especially those of Saudi since that has more meaning to me personally. It’s a very unique experience being in the military.

Thanks for remembering us in this post cowboy…have a great “us” day!!
p.s. Applebee’s is giving away dinner to all vets tonite so eat up you’ve earned it!

I remember Saudi well

Eight years USAF here. Wasn’t allowed into Desert Storm until it was all clear. The benefits of a non-combat AFSC.

im an active duty Marine who did three tours in Iraq. Everytime i see a fellow Chief fan out in my travels i tell them about AP because of posters like you, and the great atmosphere. Thanks again! And Happy Veterans Day to all other veterans out there.

u know we have diff teams we cheer for but today is for u the service men and woman u are the real heros

okay i have cereal palsy arhrtis and chronic fatiue as well i have a grea life loveing folks some days are better that other days i got a make a wish in 2001 saw my favorive team the broncos was the trip of the lifetime i wish everyone couild gotten to enjoy that with me i know some of u hate the broncos and that ok but i bleed organ and bule
