When the Chiefs cut Larry Johnson, we mentioned that a source had previously told us Patriots coach Bill Belichick wouldn't want a guy like Johnson around.
Now that Johnson is available (if he clears waivers), the same source now tells us to keep an eye on the Pats.

We shall see just how much their reporting has improved. Occasionally they’ll break a big story, but when they whiff, they really whiff big.

I think they've been doing fine
See…he’s pointing out what a source said, not exactly reporting anything (which is kinda cheap).

Hedging His Bets, As It Were
Personally, it won’t bother me if the Patriots sign 2.7 for two reasons. First, I don’t think he’s got anything left in the tank. Second, even if he’s got something left, he was never going to show it here so I’m glad he’s gone.
Some people might see it as “giving Larry Johnson what he wants”. I see it as no longer having Larry Johnson as one of the team’s problems.

"I see it as no longer having Larry Johnson as one of the team’s problems."
Totally agree with you here. No matter what he does elsewhere, he wouldn’t have done it here.
Predictions:
Kansas City will not win more than four games in 2009
Kansas City will have a new OC and DC in 2010
Kansas City will win at least seven games in 2010

If Losing Johnson Were A Choice Between Losing And Winning A Super Bowl
Then I might be willing to overlook all his bullshit.
But since, best case scenario Johnson might be the difference between winning 3 or 4 games, then who really cares?

Ahhhhhbullchitcehwwww!
Any time Belichick starts offering his opinion on things like this, my allergies start acting up. It wouldn’t shock me if they at least give him a tryout.
Belichick doesn’t say or do any thing with out having a reason.

I wonder how he will react
If say the Rams claim him off waivers, they are near the top of the list and have taken released Chiefs in the past. I think it would be funny that after all he did if he could not escape the state of Missouri after all.
is it me? or isn't about time the Lamar Hunt trophy belonged to His team?
I’m a Chiefs fan Dammit and I’m damn proud of it!
