Miami’s Ted Ginn had kick-return touchdowns of 101 and 100 yards in the third quarter of the Dolphins’ 30-25 win over the New York Jets.

Ginn is the first player in NFL history with two touchdowns of 100 yards in the same game and is the eighth player in NFL history with two kick-return touchdowns in a game. Ginn also became the first player to record two KR-TDs in the same quarter since Green Bay’s Travis Williams in 1967.

Pretty impressive day by Ginn.

He better do something

since he can’t catch the ball on a pass.

Plenty of players

have made a living in the NFL as a return specialist, which may be the direction Ginn is headed.

Sadly, he’s still going to be considered a bust until he relearns to catch the damn ball when it’s thrown rather than kicked his way.

Bask in the glory that is Kwame Harris. Poor Alex...

true enough

Usually, though, I would think it’s not guys that are drafted where he was. 9th Overall! Which is why you are correct, he is a bust if he turns out to be ONLY a returner.

I remember how the fans down there booed him. They all wanted Quinn. He was a kick returner then and is now. He’s never been a great receiver. If Miami hadn’t picked him, somebody else would’ve. Those are the types of returns he did in college. I think even as a returner only, he’s worth a ninth overall. Those guys just don’t grow on trees.

Prediction: Tamba gets 10 sacks this year.

sure...

many will argue that you use a 3rd or a 4th on a returner, but he was just that good coming out of college. Dude’s got serious speed.

Getting tape on his hands down the road is just a “hope will happen.”

A returner only is worth 9th overall?

No way, bud. The majority of these guys have come from much lower rounds…

Ginn as a return specialist = bust
