Good analysis by Kirwan.

I don’t have much faith in the Chiefs winning, but Kirwan and I both think the “play smart, the way coach is sayin’” message is percolating through the ranks.

Despite the Cowboys’ struggles, he still picks ‘em to win, but in a backhanded compliment, he says he wouldn’t make this same pick 2 weeks from now, as much as sayin’ that the Chiefs are on the rise.

Been watchin’ the Broncos-Cowboys game and it looks to me like the one thing the Broncos have that the Chiefs don’t is a SOLID secondary that lets their downhill LBs play downhill. Romo might be able to light up the KC secondary, but @ Arrowhead, I can see some potential for him having a bad day. If he struggles or blunders, the Chiefs might get it into their heads that this is a real shot at victory, and beat a mediocre team that’s been overhyped for years, as Kirwan points out.

No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.

I think more about Kenny Roger’s Roasters.

Watching the 2009-2010 Chiefs 12 hours ahead of you (in Taipei, Taiwan).
Twittering my every move. Don't act like you're not even slightly interested.

Kirwan can go to hell

He didnt have any good points at all….especially when he said “KC is not a good football team, at all”. Go jump off a cliff k? After KC beats the hell out of Americas team, what will you say then??

I haven't trusted any "expert" analysist's view of the Chiefs in quiet a while

because, like Haley said, nobody cares about us. None of these guys actually watch film on the Chiefs and they have no idea what they’re talking about. Until we start winning, they’re going to be right pretty much all the time but I think we’re a lot closer than any of these so called “experts” think we are. Sure, we’ve been on a horrible losing streak but I don’t think we’re anywhere near the garbage team that we’re made out to be. We’re just rebuilding right now. It sounds like a homerish thing to say but I see more of a winning mindset with this team than I do with the Raiders, Browns, Rams, the Chiefs ala the last few years or any of the other garbage of the NFL. I guarantee once we get the first win, more will start coming and we’ll quit hearing about this horrible losing streak.

Well that's the thing. Without wins, Chiefs don't DESERVE to be called anything other than a poor team.

As diehard fans, we see an offense that’s pretty close to being dangerous. We see a defense that does SOME things very well, and is still searching for its identity. Better DB play (and I think the talent is there, already) and the front 7 can start playing like it was BUILT to play.

But until they turn it around, they’re in the cellar, and deservedly so.

Phil Simms on Inside the NFL thinks the Chiefs will make this a close game, but lose.

Joe Theisman picked the Chiefs to WIN!

No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.
