Question about VIP tailgating??

So as most of you know, this weekend I'm going to KC for my first ever Chiefs game at Arrowhead. I'm going with my sister (the Cowboys fan) and my best friend. We've been looking for a ticket for my sister for the game and we came across some tickets for the VIP area of the parking lot where they have all you can eat and drink and some live bands or whatever...for one price.

I just want to know if this is legit since I've never been there. And if it is legit, have you any of you been? Is it worth it? We found tickets for $65. What do you recommend?

Oh yeah and we're going to the KC/SD game at Qualcomm next month....so if any So Cal AP fans want to meet up someplace to tailgate, let me know......

Yes it's legit

If you’re talking about the Pavilion, they have a big screen, food and drink and a band.

I’m waiting for a couple of tickets for the game myself. I have no idea how good they are, but I’ll find out my section in a little bit. Hopefully they’re not nose-bleed, but for the price I really can’t complain.

The SD trip sounds like fun…hmmm, warmer weather and football. Don’t ask twice, I might have to just take a vacation and maybe turn it into an extended one down to Vegas to bet on my “Dark Horse” this year….the Saints.

It will be cold in SD next month….but nothing like how cold it gets in KC. I’m SOOOO not prepared for the colder weather this weekend…haha

If you won't have a car its a semi-acceptable alternative to tailgating...

but the real party, along with the real fans will be grilling in the lots. Your money is much better spent on beer and other tailgate supplies.

Fri & Sat…then we gotta get to the Holiday Inn Sports Complex Sunday in the AM to drop our crap off…then head over to the stadium. But there are 3 of us…..

can’t beat being out in the lots with everyone…Besides,
I try and set up in the grass areas outlying the inner lots. Trying to get out after the game can be a nightmare…

VIP Tailgate

I am from So Ca to. Was in KC for home opener and we got the vip tailgate package which was cool, but for your first time at arrowhead you really need to experience the whole tailgate thing with everyone else. San Diego has nothing on KC tailgating!!!!

well.....

I’m going to be colder than hell I’m sure….and it’s supposed to rain. But I will be wearing my Chiefs beanie, Chiefs long sleeve shirt possibly with my Chiefs sweatshirt over that and my Chiefs jacket on top. lol My sister will probably wear her Julius Jones jersey that I bought her for her 21st birthday :)

I was sitting at my kids’ football practices this week looking around at all of us parents watching. Every one of us was bundled up & shivering….lol I laughed when I thought about going to KC and how you guys will probably all be in short sleeves and junk. This is my dream come true….I’d like to hope I’m old enough to know my booze limits. I want to enjoy my game so I’ll just polish off my 12pack during the tailgating & not drink inside at all….then after the game, nearest bar to continue the party & hopefully CELEBRATION!!!

in denver get there early about 2 hours or earlyer it will be cold bring a jacket just a case is kc is anything like arkansas the weather will change conslty there will be a lot of seccute at the game u might get padded down if had money i wouild get u ticked to denver it looks like a pirse ship well have fun and try some kc ribs i heard they are great

My best friend and I are the only ones going. We’re planning on going down the night before so we can be in line at the gate right when it opens. My cousin works for Hyatt and I asked him if the boys were going to be staying at his hotel. He said no, but he’s going to find out where they are staying……can you say STALKERS…..lol just kidding :)

I’m going to be freezing my arse off at that game too….no one will see any of my shirts because I will be bundled up. But I’ll be wearing my chiefs tank top, chiefs tshirt, long sleeve cheifs tshirt, chiefs sweatshirt with my chiefs jacket on top…..along with my chiefs beanie….gloves & scarf. lol Come to think of it, that’s probably how I’ll be dressed this weekend too…..haha layers!!! Cuz anything under 70 is going to be freezing for us So. Cali girls going. :)

last time I went....

The Chargers fans would talk shit as I was driving through trying to find a place to park and one of them SAT on the front of my car so I couldn’t drive forward. Luckily there was a cop car coming down the opposite direction so he got off the car & I was able to pass. When I finally found a spot to park in & I got out, I was shaking. It was my first trip to Qualcomm.

When I go next month, I’m going to keep my Chiefs hat off & a sweater hiding my Chiefs shirt until I actually park. Not to mention I’m planning on getting there right when the gates open so finding a place to park will be easier. I just don’t know how I can conceal my Chiefs stuff on my car. lol
