How much time should a rookie coach get to prove himself?

With all the discussions about Haley's winless ways through the first quarter of the season, and pretty strong opinions both for and against his coaching so far, I thought this would be a good topic for a poll. Personally I think coaches are going to make rookie mistakes just like people do in every field. He has made some bad moves, but he'll learn from those and get better. I think in general a coach should have 3 years to turn around a bad team.

4% No Time At All - He should be expected to win immediatly regardless of the situation (3 votes)
14% A Season or Less - He should be able to improve the team in his first season. Always. (11 votes)
