He has shown his comtempt for the fans and for this organization numerous times but if you choose to continue to support him that is your preferrence but do not devalue what Priest Holmes did for this team in order to make a point about what a great guy you think LJ is. Priest represented this team with integrity, he never got into verbal sparring/name calling matches with fans or reporters and he never criticized the coaching no matter how poorly the team was doing. He didn’t expect celebrated, worshiped, or loved no matter what he did on or off field. Priest Holmes carried himself like a man while LJ has conducted himself like a petulant child.

He got paid and then started jogging everytime its handed to him….running into the backs of his blockers with his great vision…

I’m the first one to admit that didn’t like LJ as a draft pick for the team, but I figured that if he was wearing the colors, I would reserve my opinion until I had a read on the guy. I rooted for him when he was representing the team the right way, I wouldn’t even sweat the lack of production so much (too many factors to name, not all LJ’s fault) but coupled with the other crap it’s is too much to ignore and as a public figure associated with the team I’ve supported for 20+ years, for me, his public image is tarnished beyond repair. If he is able to go somewhere else and have success with a more talented/experienced team, more power to him, I wish him nothing but success, but personally I’m done as a fan. I respect the stats but I can’t respect the man anymore.

As far as the deal goes with LJ being the starter or not, let me remind you that some of the other players on the team were “starters” at one time and they lost their jobs. Don’t you think this applies to Larry? I think it does.
