His contract calls for him to receive a per-game bonus of $62,500. Since he won’t be available for the Jacksonville game, he will also lose that money, so his total ticket in money-lost for his use of slurs on his Twitter account and in the team’s locker room will be $330,147.
Under terms of the suspension, Johnson will return to the team on Monday, November 9th, the day after the Chiefs game in Jacksonville.

I know this was the way it had to go
For both the NFL and the Union to accept at this time. But as a fan I hope the Chiefs take this opportunity to look at and explore other options at the position. I don’t know why they kept running a back with a 2.7 average so many times, but I think it is time to move on. Here we are at almost the half way point and they have seen all LJ has to offer on the field, I’d like to see a running back by committee plan at least until someone can prove they can be a featured back.
I believe the committee would give the offense a different look and would not be as easy to defend against. Every team knows if you have only LJ in the back field it is going to be a run up the middle or maybe a pass, either way you crush the pocket and either get the sack or nail LJ for a loss. I think a few multiple back sets maybe some toss plays anything to change things up will take the heat off the already weakened O-line and QB and give defenses something else to worry about. Now is the time to make corrections for some of what we have been seeing so far, let’s hope they take this time and use it to make the right changes.
is it me? or isn't about time the Lamar Hunt trophy belonged to His team?
I’m a Chiefs fan Dammit and I’m damn proud of it!
