Love Pages hard hitting killer mentality. I also have learned that he is a Raider killer coming from Raider country. Hopefully Page will kill them the next time we meet up with them in Oakland this year.
Belcher has came from a no namer to become an important part of a young defense. I got the chance to meet Belcher at the Chiefs Luncheon and he seems very hungry and humble and just loving being in KC. Belcher was one of the last players to head to the bus because he was enjoying talking with the fans. I wish the best for him and hope he becomes a dominant player in KC for years.

Cassel the leader of our team. I really like Cassel and I think he will be the QB to take us to the Super Bowl and win. 2011 is my guess :) Anyone else think we can get there that soon?
Whos your favorite Chiefs and why? This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

tough one right now
but Im goona have to go with DJ. Out of the guys we currently have on the team, he brings what I view as passion to his limited playing time. Its a shame he probably won’t be on the team much longer
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
I like DJ too
hopefully he will somehow get himself out of Haleys doghouse and back on the field. I know Id take a couple more 70 yard interceptions :)
i like DJ too
and cant wait until haley pulls his head out and puts him on the field!
Colquitt - Flowers - Pollard ... o wait, make that Colquitt - Flowers - DJ
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisiton!
Pollard def would of made my list if he was still here
I loved the Pollard/Page combo he wasnt any worse than Brown IMO
I hope to add Long to my list
he seems like he has potential and some speed to go along with it. If we add him at returner he may become a hometown favorite.
He has portrayed admirable qualities for sure!
Don't forget to be an AP-vangelist...Tell A Friend...
Seconded. In that order too.
I’d also add O’Callaghan…if only we had a real RG to put beside him, instead of Goff the Cadaver.

D Bowe!
Met the dude, he’s hilarious. Totally outgoing guy that doesn’t hesitate to meet fans. Plus when i met him i told him to do good at tomorrows game cuz he was on my fantasy team and we beat the chargers 31 – 16 and he had a HUGE day.
It makes me a little sad when a punter and kicker are the bright spots of our team.
I do have to admit i did always like Lowery, not only because of his kicking but I can’t count how many times he would lay a huge hit on a returner and save a TD.
Chiefs set an NFL record, most roster changes in 1 season.

Isn't it a sad time to be a Chief fan?
There is no stand out player or fan favourite like Tony, Priest, Trent or earlier era players were :(
Right now, probably DJ….he’s like Shakespere this year. All he does is make plays.

You want some butter to go with that corny joke.....lol jk

Haha
I’ve been looking for an excuse to use that for a while now.

My faves...
Larry Johnson, Derrick Johnson, Brodie Croyle, Lance Long, Dwayne Bowe, and Dion Gales on the PS.

Hali, Mays, Savage
Tamba is who opposing defenses game plan for because he’s really growing into the OLB spot as a run defender AND a pass rusher
I love Mays’ story, especially his dad….taught him perseverence, and not self-pity. Mays has come a long way from a cast-off to a solid starter. Does he need some inprovement? Sure., But I think he’s off to a pretty good start.
Dantrell “Macho Man” Savage IMO is the RB you can only game plan for in vain when he finally gets some reps. Dude runs TOUGH, and is small enough to hide behind O linemen and slip through tiny creases.
damn that should be NSFW
i think i see….yep!
Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!
I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.
My pick... err pics..
Vrabel, Succop, and Hali.
Succop, underdog of the draft to being a kicker that we probably won’t be replacing next year.
Hali – position change and effective.
Vrabel – his head looks like a wedge of cheese, love his attitude and leadership.
DBowe and Colquitt.
I was rooting for DBowe to drop to us in the draft…and that we wouldn’t draft Meachem (thank God). I was happy we drafted Colquitt when we did. A really good punter is hard to find and underappreciated.

my favorite so far is.......
Scott Pioli. Buy far the coolest under pressure, never seen this guy sweat. Never bumbles over questions. He’s puts you in a translike state when he talks and has you feeling like its a new order. “A, if i told u, i’d have to kill you type deals”. No better current chief like the “Head” Chief.
Thus far I like
Vrabel – He is turning out to be what we had hoped for a defensive player that just doesn’t quit, and can catch TD’s as well.
Succop – It’s nice to at least one player on the team that can score when you need to, That along with the last pick of the draft ya got to root for the underdog if your a KC fan.
Mays – He plays hungry and I like that he may not make every play but it’s not because he’s not trying. I love to see players working their ass off to make something happen. He is playing like the next day is cut down day and he still wants to make to roster.
is it me? or isn't about time the Lamar Hunt trophy belonged to His team?
I’m a Chiefs fan Dammit and I’m damn proud of it!
Succop because he’s proven himself
DBowe because I really enjoyed his huge smiles on the field when I was there in person…he really lived it up to the fans
Vrabel for his leadership
Then I’d say Cassel, but he’s got a lot to prove still. (yeah, I know you said top 3) lol

Flowers n DBowe
these two are sure thing pro bowl potentials – if and when the squad makes the turn n become competitive.
put them in any of the other winning programs, they are immediate starters – no doubt about it.
Predictions as of 06.24.2009.
Larry Johnson will be a top 3 fantasy pick once again in 2010 (after a monster season in 2009.)
Dwayne Bowe will be a 2009 Pro Bowl selection.
Brandon Flowers will have at least 6 INTs in 2009 season.
Todd Haley will have a sideline shouting match caught on TV yelling at one of his asst. coaches.

Tamba
That dude has worked his ass off.
And Cassel has been really, really tough. He’s taken an absolute beating and keeps coming back. I really have a lot of respect for Matt Cassel.
Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family.
I'll let the picture do the explaining...

Chiefs Top Five Solo Tackle Leaders:
Demorrio Williams -37 Tackles
Mike Brown -33 Tackles
Mike Vrable -25 Tackles
Corey Mays -24 Tackles
Brandon Flowers -19 Tackles
cassel
I think his leadership skills are top shelf and hes been a good soldier for us.He gets knocked around and gets up wanting more. All i hear him say is what he can do and the team can do.he doesnt point fingers.I just like how he plays the game.
hey guys
where is lj on the list. you all know he is still your favorite. lol just kidding—do not castrate me.
Cassel, Flowers, and Waters
Cassel because he gets pumped up after big plays and shows a desire to win after getting knocked around. Flowers because he is a hard hitting corner with alot of talent. Waters because he has been with us for a long time and still gives his all-thus the holding penalties trying to compensate for not so good players around hime.
