I know, I know. Not the most newsworthy post but hey, it's a slow, rainy day here in Austin. Everyone at Austin City Limits is getting drenched and frankly, I'm glad I'm not there. We live less than a mile from where the festival is going on and you can tell it's just a crazy amount of people there. I'm really just killing time until game day tomorrow, when the real excitement will kick in.

Anyway, this is Tank Tyler's "Welcome to the Carter", a rap song about his college alma mater's stadium. It's been around for a while but only on YouTube for less than a month now. FYI, some of the lyrics are NSFW.

I kind of dig it, despite my racial handicap.

8. The Chiefs will have a bottom 10 defense this year.

I drove from Tulsa to go to ACL today! We were there all day and finally decided to call it quits and head back. I literally just got back and saw this post. I didn’t realize you live in Austin. It was pretty miserable out there. Definite let down, considering our only tickets were for today, and that yesterday was such an amazing day.

From what I experienced yesterday (in dry, beautiful conditions), Austin seems like a pretty nice city.

Btw, that was not racist at all.
