I couldn't take this one
- Weaknesses:
- Takes false steps in coverage and poor angles
- Lacks instincts
- Zero ball skills
- Not much of a playmaker
- Poor tackling technique; throws body around without using arms/hands to wrap up
- Hasn’t improved his weaknesses going back to sophomore season
- Occasionally not in position
- Plays out of control
- More of an athlete than a football player
Sounds familiar. I can’t imagine drafting a guy like this high and then having more poor tackling, out of position, and poor ball skills in our secondary.

Especially not when...
He’s been talked about around here as our potential 1st round pick, which should be in the top 10.

Sounds just like....
….another Bernard Pollard.
No thanks.
I carry a lighter around in my pocket wherever I go...I don't smoke, I just really like certain songs.

poor angles my ass!
Did you guys watch him vs CAL? dude is a stud, he’s always around the ball.

Psh.. Yeah i guess it’s horrible when a player not only wraps up but RUNS through the ball carrier…..

I can't see us taking a Safety in the top 3 no matter who it is

I'm not advocating taking Mays...
The scouting report at the link is not exactly complimentary of Mays. Just wanted to post a link to a draft site that shares my opinion of a player many here have expressed an interest in. Figured, someone’s opinion that analyzes prospects for a living mght carry more wieght around here than mine.
