A big thanks to Chiefs Hall of Famer Len Dawson and the "Voice of the Chiefs" Mitch Holthus for making all of these weeks and last few miserable years of Chiefs football bearable. These men tell it like it is, share our enthusiasm and do a great job of knowing and covering our Kansas City Chiefs.
I’ve turned off the volume on the TV for years now and listened exclusively to our hometown announcers "tell it like it is." I’d recommend that all real Chiefs fans to do the same.

To be fair
Dick Enberg is one best commentators for the Chiefs. He frequently mistakes players’ identities like Mike Cloud for Priest Holmes. That in itself is greatness.

I always listen to 101
because it beats listening to the TV announcers blow whoever we’re playing…
I mean, seriously, Troy Aikmen sucks horribly as a commentator, but when he does a Cowboys game, the suckitude reaches new and exciting levels…
Ryan Succop will be the kicker for the AFC in the 2011 Pro Bowl

Used to
When i lived in the area, but now I am at the Lake of the Ozarks and for some reason there is a small delay and it makes it hard to handle. Still the best way to watch it if you can get it right.
I lost my pen. May I borrow yours?

I would listen
but sometimes there’s a small delay depending on the broadcast. So it sucks to see them run a play and at the same time hear Mitch mention how they’re “lining up for the snap”. But I definitely prefer listening to them, especially when you can hear the frustration in Len Dawson’s voice over a play call or a decision by the quarterback. It’s like you can tell he still loves the game and if he had the opportunity would suit up and be out on that field.

Just pause the TV till you get it to match the radio.
Chiefs set an NFL record, most roster changes in 1 season.

Same with me
I used to love listening to the radio broadcast while watching. Sadly with DirecTV there a huge delay so I can no longer do this. However I DVR each game so if it’s getting out of hand I’ll grab the radio and head out to the grill or into the kitchen to start getting things ready for the next round of games.
It’s worth it though with Sunday Ticket and Superfan.

Mitch and Len
I listen to them over the internet in Iraq. I feel like I’m in the stadium.

I don’t know about you but my radio broadcast is ahead of DirecTV so I hear the result of the play before the ball is snapped.
