A message to those not understanding the LJ debacle
The Chiefs are a very bad team. We pay good money to watch this very bad team (3 seasons in a row no less). We have plenty to be upset about, but as true fans, we keep a stiff upper lip and continue to support the TEAM we love.
Notice I said TEAM. Larry Johnson is the antithesis of team. He has failed us on and off the field for years now. Try to forget pouring salt in the wound by calling out the coach, something every member of this team could do; yet they don't. Try to forget the derogatory language he used, not to mention how the same language could have been turned on him in an instant; yet it wasn't.
What cannot, and should not be, forgiven in all of this, is the fact that he insisted on going on about all the money he makes, how fans making $5/hour have no valid input, and how fans have nothing to do with his paychecks.
Wow, I've shelled out nearly $1000 this season ALONE going to see one of the worst teams in the league, with one of the worst running games in the history of said league. He DARES to say I have nothing to do with his paycheck?
Every fan of the NFL should be up in arms over his comments. This is not the first time he's behaved this way. If the league as a whole doesn't step up here, it also will not be the last time. We deserve more, period.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

That's exactly what I feel
I could care less what else he says…bash his boss all he wants, but we’re in turn “the customer” if he had a real job and the customer (the fans in this case) do pay him….so to speak.
That was the most insulting thing of all that came out of his mouth. And when he doesn’t have a carreer anymore & he blows through all the money, because surely he isn’t smart enough to invest since he’s not smart enough to keep his trap shut, then what will have? Nothing.

Larry pretty much shot himself in the foot, here.
He dissed his coach, he dissed the fans, he dissed the organization, he dissed the sports writers. He offended the NFL, he offended the gay and lesbian communities, and he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt to “future” prospective employers that he is a loose cannon with problems who can’t keep his mouth shut. The only thing he didn’t do is slap his momma and I am not real sure he didn’t do that.

I love how his comments are undoubtedly going to hit him in the wallet somehow
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
