So many fans here are in denial

Refuse to accept that this season has gone wrong from the get go. The want to find a culprit to make excuses so that they are able to feel better for….

a day

a week

and they wait again til LJ say something that they are able to spin it in a negative way

all to avoid having to accept the fact this team is not moving in the direction as expected

Dwayne Bowe will be a 2009 Pro Bowl selection.
Brandon Flowers will have at least 6 INTs in 2009 season.
Todd Haley will have a sideline shouting match caught on TV yelling at one of his asst. coaches.

I am not ok with it now that its gotten to be so big. But at first, I took it as something funny.

I do have ToonIcon and OGOchoCinco on my twitter following. So, he made fun of a coach – on the lighter side, its funny as hell, on the serious side..yeah it shows disrespect. But I’m from the tougher side of life. You earn your respect. People don’t walk up and get a badge slap on their chest to say BOSS. Haley came in the franchise doing just that. LJ is wrong but I don’t see anyone saying that Haley is also being very bad. As a matter of fact, a horrific head coach.

Please don’t get me started on coordinator vs head coach. Some guys just don’t have what it takes to lead. OTA’s training camp, pre-season and now 7 games in – i do not see it in Todd Haley.

I don’t think most people care about what he said about Haley. Some may not agree with it, but it’s not the main issue. It’s what he said to fans and then to reporters today that’s the problem.

Is Haley perfect? Not by a long shot. That doesn’t excuse Larry for what he said though (Again, the fan stuff, not the Haley comments).

I was away from my desk for a bit but got to see your video post. Thanks. But we’d still be disagreeing if we continue to argue about that topic. I know this is a different topic but still the same subject – LJ.

You may be right, LJ has lost it. Fine. You are also right about LJ taking a pay cut after his run in with the law last season. Pioli kept him for a reason – we dont know. Perhaps wanting to feature him more hoping that he produces big and increases his trade value. The Pioli plan back fired cuz he ignored the poor talent on the o-line.

Either way, we are all wanting the same results and less frustration. But with the way things are going, I can’t help it but get pissed when i watch the game. And I can’t walk away from the damn team. i’ve invested too many years following them. I cried when Keith Cash spiked the ball at Buddy Ryan’s poster in 1994 after the comeback in Houston. That was the last time i felt good ..a very long time ago.
