no easy way out for the fans

unfortunately fans dont get fired

Star-divide

Since the game ended i have been trying to put this situation in the proper perspective no matter how hard it is. The thing about being a rabid chiefs fan is you dont get cut and you can`t get fired like players and coaches. It makes it all the more difficult when the team is as poor as ours is right now to keep the faith and enthusiasm required to be a chiefs fan. The waiver wire or the unemployment line is not an option for all us loyal chiefs fans. I just wish the players would play with the same kind of passion as we have supporting this team even in the very worst of times as i cannot recall any  times any worse ....even in the post stram era following our lone super bowl championship. I know  it is going to be a long road back and everybody`s patience is wearing very thin but as fans all we can do is stay the course and hope that sometime in the future times will be better and we can compete and make arrowhead one of the best if not THE BEST home field advantage in the nfl.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

I dont know

the more losses we get, makes the win(s) more enjoyable for me personally. Things will be turned around one day soon. And that’s the time we will get to sit at the top enjoying our moments in the sun. Cheer up, no one died, the Stadium didn’t implode and LJ is still with us…oh well forget that last part. We are going to get through this!

Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!

I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.

And when that happens

We’ll remember the depths we’ve been through. =)

you are right lanier…no one died and it is just a game but i just hope i get to see 1 more super bowl here before i die…i was 13 for the first one and i plan to live many more years, i just hope it doesn`t take 40 more to win another one…then i may be pushing the envelope.

I do agree with that

I was 9 when the boys brought home the prize!

+10

Predictions as of 06.24.2009.

Larry Johnson will be a top 3 fantasy pick once again in 2010 (after a monster season in 2009.)
Dwayne Bowe will be a 2009 Pro Bowl selection.
Brandon Flowers will have at least 6 INTs in 2009 season.
Todd Haley will have a sideline shouting match caught on TV yelling at one of his asst. coaches.

Thank you!

Well said. I share the same sentiments.

I'll always support the team

Larry Johnson has no business in the NFL. He is simply a worthless Human Being. The comments he made reveal his true nature, and there is no sugar coating that can ever forgive it. Let him try to live out his days with the money he’s made, because he will fail in the real world. That’s whats happens to losers.

we all will continue to support the team

but by support we don’t mean lie down and take getting raped every year!!
We want, and deserve a good team here. We deserve owner’s like the Steelers have. Coaches and staff like the Patriots have, and talent like Colts have.

It’s always been some other team but us. We don’t think of our team as the Cardinals or the Jets, but the rest of the league doesn’t either, they think of us as the Lions and Rams….we are a joke and we don’t deserve this year in and year out.

More than any of that

we deserve players who don’t think they’re better than the very fans who make their opportunities possible! Where would a guy like Larry Johnson be if the NFL didn’t have the following our society provides? I’ll reserve comment, because I don’t want to get banned. Short version? Nowhere.

I disagree if you meant it that way

“WE” are not a joke and never will be. The fans are not to blame for the current situation. :)

at least its a civil conversation here

the amazing thing here is it is a civil conversation here . It almost seems like a healing process being able to talk to fellow chiefs fans without having to get out of line. That is a testament to chiefs fans here. can you imagine what people would be saying in new york or philly????

Now that i have had ...

time to calm down….i realize that we’re lucky in some regards.

Great location, great stadium, no chance of relocation and an owner committed to leaving football decisions in the hands of football people.

Thank the lord for that.

Cut LJ, hit the streets for some fresh blood and move on.
