Open Thread: Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Diego Chargers
When: 12 PM central time
Where: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO
Chargers on SBN: Bolts from the Blue
Listen online: 101 The Fox (Click Listen Live in the upper right corner)
TV Maps: the506.com
Coverage of the game leading up to now is here. Inactives for both teams are here.
Will the Chiefs make it two wins in a row today? My gut feeling says yes.
Get your predictions for the score and random one liners in soon. I'm saying the score is going to be 24 to 17 in favor of KC. Larry Johnson does not rush for over 100 yards today; Dwayne Bowe does rack up more than 100 yards receiving; and the Chiefs' defense will sack Phillip Rivers three times today.
GOOOOOOOOOO CHIEFS!!!

but i think he might get 2 or 3 receptions today instead of his usual 1 five yard catch.

I was in shock. I got to shake hands with the best Chiefs journalist on the net!
It is a new Era at Arrowhead. I do not yet know if it is one of greatness or one of ineptitude. I am excited to see which way it goes, and will support my team until the end, bitter or sweet!

nice
KC 24 SD 21 is my prediction…
Got some Arrowhead Kush for a nice morning of chiefs football…
Lance Long active, I think he makes an impact
and FINALLY KC is looking at charles as a wideout split wide…Hester anyone?
by SDChief on Oct 25, 2009 11:15 AM CDT reply actions 0 recs
I like it....But i dont think charles is big enough.
also, Succop is going to kick the game winning FG from 58
by Wrestler189s on Oct 25, 2009 11:17 AM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
well
maybe not as an every down reciever
but this team lacks a serious deep threat, charles has shown an ability to make the big play, and flash speed.
as for Succop, yeah prob another great day, the guy has arrowhead figured out…huge advantage…
by SDChief on Oct 25, 2009 11:28 AM CDT up reply actions 0 recs

He did make a good play when Bradley threw the pass to him when he was wide open.

Larry needs to get it going and Cassel needs to throw the ball away and not take sacks. If we do that we win 20-14

20-10
CHIEFS!
Great, now Kansas City has TWO delusional GM's who think that contending in 2010 is still a possibility. Note to an NFL GM: if you win 2 games one year, dont expect signing four players whose ages sum to 141 and expect to make the playoffs the next year. Super reach for Tyson Jackson, huge contract to a QB who's still very much a question mark, questionable FA signing, why have we already given Pioli the benefit of the doubt? On the other hand, I have nothin to say about Dayton Moore, he's dead to me.

quickly. It looks like our defense is in slow motion out there. Zero effort. Poor play calling on offense and it’s just like every other game this season. We go down big early and try to claw our way back in the second half. Yet another 1st quarter coming to a close with ZERO touchdowns. Awesome.
