Coverage of the game leading up to now is here. Inactives for both teams are here.

Will the Chiefs make it two wins in a row today? My gut feeling says yes.

Get your predictions for the score and random one liners in soon. I'm saying the score is going to be 24 to 17 in favor of KC. Larry Johnson does not rush for over 100 yards today; Dwayne Bowe does rack up more than 100 yards receiving; and the Chiefs' defense will sack Phillip Rivers three times today.

GOOOOOOOOOO CHIEFS!!!

The Chiefs were actually good the last time Kenny Smith has played in a game. Gives you an idea of how long ago that was. lol

It was me!

I was in shock. I got to shake hands with the best Chiefs journalist on the net!

It is a new Era at Arrowhead. I do not yet know if it is one of greatness or one of ineptitude. I am excited to see which way it goes, and will support my team until the end, bitter or sweet!

nice

KC 24 SD 21 is my prediction…

Got some Arrowhead Kush for a nice morning of chiefs football…

Lance Long active, I think he makes an impact

and FINALLY KC is looking at charles as a wideout split wide…Hester anyone?

by SDChief on Oct 25, 2009 11:15 AM CDT reply actions

I like it....But i dont think charles is big enough.

also, Succop is going to kick the game winning FG from 58

by Wrestler189s on Oct 25, 2009 11:17 AM CDT up reply actions

well

maybe not as an every down reciever

but this team lacks a serious deep threat, charles has shown an ability to make the big play, and flash speed.

as for Succop, yeah prob another great day, the guy has arrowhead figured out…huge advantage…

by SDChief on Oct 25, 2009 11:28 AM CDT up reply actions

WE NEED A FAST START TODAY!!!!!!

Larry needs to get it going and Cassel needs to throw the ball away and not take sacks. If we do that we win 20-14

by chiefs316 on Oct 25, 2009 11:17 AM CDT reply actions

yeah itslike the dallas game

where beforehand it was “at least you play KC this week”….SD feels the same way.

Wish they said that to the players.

It wud get them pumped and we win 40-3.

20-10

CHIEFS!

Great, now Kansas City has TWO delusional GM's who think that contending in 2010 is still a possibility. Note to an NFL GM: if you win 2 games one year, dont expect signing four players whose ages sum to 141 and expect to make the playoffs the next year. Super reach for Tyson Jackson, huge contract to a QB who's still very much a question mark, questionable FA signing, why have we already given Pioli the benefit of the doubt? On the other hand, I have nothin to say about Dayton Moore, he's dead to me.

I don't disagree

I’m just tired of comments that do nothing but cry and complain. If it’s that painful to watch then I’m sure there’s something else that’s more entertaining going on right now.

Shit, it’s not like I’m asking everyone to watch the game through rose colored glasses here.

Washington must be bad to lose against these Chief jokers….We`re a kindergarten team in disguise…we obviously havn`t turned up yet…better do soon before its an embarrasing high scoring shut out

you don't get banned for being negative, if you have a logical constructive point

Thank you

Be negative all you want, just try and at least make an attempt to have a point buried somewhere in the negativity.

You don't get banned for being negative.

Please stop telling people that.

they lack energy, thats why haley went for it, hoped to get them upbeat a bit

backfired…

the D needs to wake the heck up…offensively….

its pretty ugly, and im usually the super positive one.

I just see the team that lost to the eagles.

It has been awhile since we've had a defense that can break up passes.

It seems we just take the short stuff in order to defend against the deep throw. This allows teams to sustain long drives…how about taking an aggressive approach for a change?!

IF the Chiefs do something…people wont be negative….you take the rough with the smooth….praise when they are good….negativity when they are bad….and for the record..they are down by two scores and playing like fruitcakes!! So praise isn`t an option…
Come on Chiefs… I like the long ball attempts…keep doing that in the hope it opens up LJ….come on defense force a fumble

but it’s one worth taking. A 1 yard penalty to prevent a td? Yeah, I’ll take that.

Nothing goes our way...

even when we do well. Automatic touchdown for the Chargers now, and we’re down 21-0.

And….WTF is Jackson even doing covering a WR? W T F?

that there are 4 quarters in football, not 3. It’s too late anyways. Why? Because our offense can’t do a thing.
