Anyone else notice

that matt cassel at one point says “you play the game to win”? sounded awfully familiar to herm’s you play to win the game. i thought that was funny.

My question was....

“Does today’s win change anything as you prepare for next week?”

Thanks

But now I have to go back and watch it again. LOL

Should I take this out

this was up in the fanshots already

Nope

I’m just slow with the hat tips. Thanks for posting the link.

no problem

I did not wanted to be double posted and since the fanshots get lost after a day or two it made more sense to let it go since it was on the front page. You guys are great with the hat tips by the way. There is way too much info being posted at time to keep up with all of it.

Two hat tips tonight

Nice work.

Thanks

Again with so many people posting nowadays you have to pick your spots. I actually check a couple of pages of fanshots and front page news before posting anything. Always trying to avoid that “Guppy Tag!”

Guppy!

That’s great though, Nelly, thanks for taking the effort. It really does make a difference.

That is funny as hell

He did call him suck off…… lol my drink came out my nose

by palomarchief on Oct 18, 2009 9:47 PM CDT reply actions

well i give Cassell props

He got absolutely creamed all game and stayed in and made plays

it's funny how

some people see cassel’s performance like this, while I see him ( and bowe) as the weakest part of our offense today. Bowe’s drops and cassel’s inability to get rid of the ball and general inaccuracy almost cost us the game.

by Cassel is a west coast pretty boy on Oct 18, 2009 10:44 PM CDT up reply actions

i see it as sticking in the pocket with no line whatsoever

And at least giving us a shot to win. Bowe dropped passes he should have caught and the D could have tackled better but we played ok. I’m not saying were great because we still suck

Dude, change your screen name.

Constructive criticism is always welcome. Lame, blatant name-calling is not.

by jbj8609 on Oct 18, 2009 11:04 PM CDT via mobile up reply actions

"west coast pretty boy" is name calling now?

Sure, it’s juvenile and pedantic (really, a west coast pretty boy? what’s next, “he’s a total jock!”?), but is this really what keeps us awake at night?

Let’s rise above the bait and engage in adult conversations. Discussions on whether somebody’s screen name hurts your feelings is not one of those types of conversations. Hell, if anything, it’s a giant red flag that you’re probably shouldn’t respond.

For the record, Tony G was a west coast pretty boy, too.

No one's feelings are hurt...

…just making a suggestion in accordance with the forum rules. Chris and Joel have been cracking down on stuff like that lately. Do what you want.

Don't really care about the user name

LJ is in

I’ll be starting LJ in my fantasy league for the first time this year next week. He can smell the record and the Chargers are like the 28th ranked rushing defense.

by raiderhater77 on Oct 18, 2009 11:13 PM CDT reply actions

I still think LJ looks like shit.

He did play better yesterday but, our running game just looks bad. I am sticking with my guns and I am going on record saying, Savage is the guy who is going to turn this run game around. Charles didn’t look too good yesterday either.

by Chiefsfan1970 on Oct 19, 2009 9:49 AM CDT up reply actions

I should be ashamed to say it, but

I have never taken LJ out of the lineup, I figure that little sentimental note can be made up by having Tony G in there to pick up the slack

What gives?

Every time I attempt to watch any video at NFL.com it never fails to toss up “we’re sorry but this video is no longer available”.
