The Chiefs are trying to move former 2005 first-round linebacker Derrick Johnson and 2008 third-round safety DeJuan Morgan. Todd Haley and Co. are making no secret about their unhappiness with the players they inherited from the previous regime. I’m hearing they don’t like anyone, including Branden Albert, who they feel is not a left tackle.

Mike Lombardi is still a journalist?!?!?!

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes; after that, who cares?! He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

On Albert
If you do not like him at left tackle, move him where you think he can play. Makes no sense to get rid of him without giving him a shot at his natural position.

Exactly.
Do not get rid of him. That would be a waste of talent AND money. I think if we get a good deal for DJ then trade him but he played well today, from what i saw. Morgan can be moved, IMO.

Technically...outside of DJ...
this is the first time I’ve heard of such immense displeasure the FO/HC have been having with BA and Morgan…

there's no way this is true
he’s just trying to stir controversy.

I call BS
This is not the Patriots/Pioli/Chiefs way to leak this. This is agents in action ahead of the trade deadline. Pioli is silent and lethal.

easy to say they arent happy with dj and morgan when both arent getting much playing time...typical lombardi...much like the cassel contract...it was sort of a given...it just didnt fit his EXACT timing

in this case he wants to be right....After a win I think things changed, but with a certain cap hit needed we may be looking to move our biggest cap hit contracts
and I agree, albert is NOT a left tackle hes a guard…and thats FINE, just means we dont have a LT
