Congratulations to long deserving classy fans
I got to watch the game today here in RI over a friend's house who just got direct tv season ticket set up the middle of this week. Then, I managed to get home to watch the Patriots, because he's a Raiders fan and I didn't want to watch that game at 4pm (EST).
Glad to see Kansas City get the win. I know some will say it was ugly, but the Pats have gotten a lot of wins like that in the past in FG shootouts, usually ending 9-6 or such, so I'm used to those. I say a win is a win is a win. No one remembers how you won, they only remember the record.
You guys have been really hospitable to me, I and just wanted to say I appreciate that. You're kind of like my surrogate team. Just stay positive and good things will happen. At least, the negativity will be toned down quite a bit this week, as you prepare for a big division rival at home. You can't argue with success, it's the ultimate common denominator. Look at how ugly and lucky the Broncos have been, but all people around the league remember is that they are 5-0. McDaniels has completely silenced his critics. All you can hear are crickets over there in place of the boo birds.
I've been lucky, I've got to see almost every KC game so far this year including pre season. I think Matt did well. He didn't get a TD today, but he didn't have any INTs either. There are different ways to win different games. The defense definitely won this game today, and the special teams. As sort of an outside observer, I always thought the D was pretty good, but no one was going to notice until the team got a win. They are going to need more production out of the offense next week to win. Enjoy the victory, guys.

Gratz to the Patriots for that assraping of the Titans
Never seen an NFL game that lopsided

LOL it was embarrasing but the Pats are good at embarrassing inferior teams.
Bowe and Wade FTW.

It's funny
I can get to foxboro stadium on the highway in about 30 mins from where I live. It’s due north of here, and there isn’t a snow flake on the ground outside over here. It’s just been raining really hard all day.
To watch it on tv, it looked like a blizzard. The Patriots always kill other teams in the snow. Look at what they did to the Cardinals last year.

Belichek probably bought a snow making machine form some bankrupt ski hill.
He can control now control the home field conditions better than ever!

Thank you,
and you are welcome here any time, even as a surrogate! Congrats on an incredible win. I’m thankful we don’t play this year!!

Yeah, that's going to be a good game, when it happens
In a year or two. Who knows, maybe in the playoffs.

Thanks for the good wishes.
We Will kick at least 4 Teams Asses in 09
And Succop will be the Key in two of them.

Matt's been kind of amazing.
Not throwing an INT when there is nothing resembling a pocket for him to throw from is pretty remarkable. He is leading an offense that can’t pass protect and can’t consistently run the ball and his receivers can’t get consistently open. And he takes a major ass beating every game. My two favorite Chiefs are Matt and Tamba Hali.
Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family.

I agree 100%
I just hope that his body can hold up this season. No one can doubt the set on Cassel, though. Big brass ones. Just imagine what he’ll be able to do WITH protection!
Man, it’s really hard to pick my two favorite Chiefs. I love Succop. I also think Jovan Belcher is a badass and an inspiration. Cassel is tough and doesn’t turn it over. Vrabel plays his ass off every down. John McGraw may not have all the natural ability in the world but he makes the most of what he has, and he’s come up huge for us a bunch of times already this year. Colquitt is our secret weapon and can change the complexion of the game with one kick. Tamba has totally bought into the new scheme, worked crazy hard to get into OLB shape, and is now reaping the benefits. Bobby Wade has made some great catches and held onto the ball after taking insane hits over the middle.
I can’t pick just two!!

classy guy
Thanks, pal. Your comments are always welcome. No one gives the Chiefs much love this year outside of the homers, of course. (Not that the team has deserved many kudos, either.) So we’ll take it anytime.

Win #1...Woohoo!
I wish I could be saying “How bout them Cowboys?” the rest of the year, because we had them beat and they suck! but woohooo! to win number 1 baby!
Win # 1 comes this week! (If I keep saying it, it's gotta come true eventually right?)

They eliminated most of the negative running plays and LJ got to run downhill, some.
Cassel still got sacked, but in a tough game, you’re going to trade some sacks for some good passing plays. Frankly, the way the O-Line’s been playing, if Cassel’s not gettin’ sacked, he ain’t tryin’ hard enough! Just hope he can stay healthy. That Haynesworth unsportsmanlike would’ve busted up a lesser man.
No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.

I got to give that one to you hmills my man..
your correct…if I learned anything about Cassel, it’s his toughness…boy he really got rocked on a few of those plays…I would have been in a hospital still recovering…typing to my friends here on AP on my imaginary laptop in comaland….
but he brushed it off and went on playing…amazing…

Tennessee didn't
want to be there from the start. They just looked cold & like they didn’t care. I’ve never seen a team just “give up” like that. From the midway in the 1st quarter, they were just spectators watching Brady playing catch with his receivers. 5 TD passes in the 2nd quarter & 345 yards before halftime. 52 – 0 at the half & 59 – 0 with 10 minutes left in 3rd quarter. Imagine what the score could have been if Brady & company had continued to play. I’ve never seen a Jeff Fischer team look so terrible. They had -17 yards passing!
