The only Chiefs he knows are the ones that have gone 6-31 since 2007. The only Chiefs he knows are the ones run by the likes of Herm Edwards and Todd Haley. The only Chiefs he knows are the ones who have lost 16 of their last 17.

Me
Sadly, that almost describes me. I’ve always been a Chiefs fan, but never really understood football and started following it until Vermeil took it over when I was in middle school and playing the game. I think it was his second year that I really started watching, and those days were fun (winning 10 straight I believe), but playoff loss=blehh

I thought this was going to be really neat to read
and at points it was, but a large portion of it was absurd. I have been as tough on Haley as anyone as of late, but I haven’t went as far as comparing him with Herm. I DEFINITELY haven’t written the guy off yet. I’m just not seeing where he’s going yet with things yet, but I have faith. And his trashing of Bowe makes even less sense.
I don't think Haley...
even knows where Haley is going with this team.

Younger fans? try ANY fan
Fans only care about what the team did for them lately, and by lately, I mean this season or last season.
I was born in december of 1987
so growing up, all i knew about football that the chiefs were always good. I thought for sure we’d be in the Super Bowl in 1997, and for sure again in 2003. And even now, when I watch how pathetic the chiefs play, I still feel like we are going to win. It’s the way I was raised. The chiefs always win.
The bad part is, when the chiefs do end up losing, I get pissed off. Maybe it would be better not to care, or to assume they’re going to lose.
"I still feel like we are going to win"
When watching a game, I ALWAYS believe we will somehow win.
We went to arrowhead from the mid 90's to 2005 every home page. we had season tickets.
I moved away in 2006 and haven’t been back since…From what I understand Arrowhead isn’t even remotely similar to how it used to be..Not even close
The chiefs always ranged from mediocre to great…Always competitive and usually won at home…Things have changed quite a bit

What annoys the hell out of me
Is seeing Invesco Field in Denver packed to the rafters & rocking while Arrowhead is 1/3 empty. I don’t blame fans at all for not wanting to spend several hundred dollars to go see a 2-28 team though…I probably wouldn’t either if I still lived up there.
