First of all, Todd Haley. The body language of this head coach is straight up atrocious. Un-cross your arms!!! He looks like he just expects the team to do poorly and sometimes that causes the team to do just that. Even when there were good plays Todd would be over on the sideline, arms crossed, NOT coaching at all. The body language, IMO, is a huge deal. Someone needs to tell him that his stuck up attitude isn't going to work. Even that stuck up buttface Bill Belichick doesn't do that. Todd, lighten up bud. Coach for cryin out load.
This Sunday's close game against Dallas is probably viewed by some to be a significant improvement over the previous weeks. I'm going to try to put my rage into words and tell you why IT'S NOT! Right now I can think of about three things that are really burning at my soul. Just to let everyone know, I've never posted anything on here and every time I've posted a comment it has been viewed as overcritical. This is probably going to be more of the same but maybe I can get some of you to agree with what I'm saying. Don't get me wrong, I'm obsessed with KC football.
Second, Mike Brown. Mike Mike Mike Mike Mike. I hate you!! I really truly do. You have completely lost all potential in your ability to play fundamentally sound football. You missed an easy tackle that went for six, AND you took a completely terrible route to the ball (meaning he didn't lay a hand on him) that lost us the game. I will never, EVER cheer your name. EVER!! Your veteran presence will be better felt on the sideline bud. Give me DaJuan Morgan as the Chiefs starting SS. PLEASE!! Seriously though, can everyone agree with me that had Bonecrusher been there he would have made at least one of those plays. If you don't agree please tell me why.
Third and finally, and I hate to say it but, Matt frickin Cassel. Oh my God dude!! Get rid of it!! Get F'in rid of it!! I almost got the boot from the bar I was at because I was screaming at you to get rid of it. You gotta have clock going in your head man. Now I'll admit that I can't tell if the receivers are just not getting open or if they're not running the proper or crisp routes but he looks awful. What I really don't understand is how at the end of the game or when it's crunch time he can complete a whole bunch of passes. Does he just not want to risk throwing picks. Dwayne Bowe looks great. Get it to him. Booby Wade had some drops this game which contributed to the ineptitude of our franchise QB, but when its all said and done he just plain holds on to the ball to long. When a receiver is running an out route hit him as soon as he's out of his cut. Yeah yeah, hard to pass when you can't run but still.
Now these are just opinions of mine and I would love to here rebuttles from everyone. I tend to be overcritical but at this point in time I have a right to be. Please let me know what you think.
