Replace C Niswanger with Brian Waters
Niswanger is getting pushed back and around too much. Waters’ power, weight (20 pounds heavier) and experience should keep that from occurring. Center is an easier position to play due to guard help, and Waters is not dominating at LG anymore. Don’t you agree?

Well, he wouldn't be any worse...
He’s also played center before. I just think he was a great guy to have Albert learn the game next to… or is it spoiling Brandon?

I don't think many here on AP would argue
but, then, who plays LG???
* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season

Move Albert to LG his natural/original position
LT? Well Ndukwe played there last year right? I could be wrong.
I don't want no Yo-Yos

Ndukwe played RG last year, and well
LT would be an issue for 2009, if Albert was moved
I could see drafting a new LT, and making the move then…
AND/OR drafting a new C, and being done with it

I don't understand this
Albert had a great game against Ware/Cowboys. He f’d up like once. Why move him when he’s doing a good job? This makes no sense, unless we get a blue chip LT.

that'd be the ONLY reason to move Albert
IF they drafted a “blue chip” FIRST round LT.
Otherwise, I’d rather see drafting the best C in the draft, and a mid-round tackle for depth

Sounds good...
But Rudy has played G before right? So have Albert, Rudy, Waters, Ndukwe, O Callaghan.

Rudy at LG????
Wasn’t the original posts premise to move Waters to Center based on:
1) Rudy getting pushed around at the Center spot
2) Waters no longer dominating at the LG spot, and being better at the center position because it is an easier position to play due to guard help.
So if Center is easier than Guard, and Rudy is struggling at Center…. why is he going to be better at Guard?

Im not saying he will be better...
Its just center is clearly not his position and i thought Herm said a while back that Rudy was really a Guard.

Alleman could replace Goff
Alleman looked very good. This will be interesting to watch.

I see changes to the line in the off week
Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!
I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.

if only it would be this week.

All of the above.
Only there’s no guarantee it’ll get better just because change is made. All we know is it needs to stay on the up-tick.
No question. Otis Taylor should be in the Hall of Fame.

after alleman took over for goff
LJ started getting yardage! I think wee need to try ndukewe(SP?) At the RG spot. Then I think alleman should get a shot at C.
LT – Albert
LG- Waters
C- Alleman
RG- Ndukewe
RT- O’callaghan
This should be, in my opinion, a solid line

We wont know if it will be solid or not
but that was the line I was petitioning for as soon as we got ocallaghan. I feel like that puts us in the best position to have no further changes until the offseason
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?

I agree 100%
I believe that Alleman has prior experience at center also… it seems to me that he would be a major upgrade over Rudy.
Then again Cassel has a bond with Rudy…

based on
The way O’Callaghan has played I think he could be our answer at RT. And I don’t see what it would hurt to put alleman at center and ndukwe at guard, ndukwe didn’t do too terrible a job at tackle and C/G is our biggest problem. We could also use a RB that can pick up the blitz.
