Brandon Flowers

Does anyone have a national article written by a national writter or a third-party scout that states that Brandon Flowers has Pro-Bowl potential? Or is this just one of those KC Chiefs biased things that people around here are just hoping that he becomes? He looks a bit under-sized to be a #1 and lacks the top-end speed to really stay man-to-man with true #1 receivers.

On another note, the Chiefs currently have the worst defense in football so obviously there have to be changes made on all lines of the defense.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Arrowhead Pride's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Arrowhead Pride writers or editors.

What's a national writter?

Honestly, their are many other problems facing the Chiefs now other than “is Flowers the real deal”. I think that he is by the way

Have you seen the kid play?

…and is this the same “wilson123” from Royals blogs?

by bbrock05 on Oct 12, 2009 8:31 PM CDT reply actions

I'll tell you what

did you see flowers miss any tackles on Sunday? Hell i didn’t even see them throw to his man. Seems like every week I see Flowers making less plays because they just don’t throw the ball over there. Also the guy TACKLES did you see his hit on Barber?

If you have questions they should be about Mo Leg and Carr. Both were beaten on quite a few plays.

So I guess

the answer to the question is no.

Wow man..I can handle being real...I feel ya if you are real but...

seriously?? With all that’s going wrong here and what with these hard times we’ve fallen upon…AND with so many topics you could have picked that would have been a legitimate problem for our team…you picked him?? really

what for? he is like one small bright spot we have…so if we over idolize him or Bowe…it’s because their who we have….we don’t have paolamalu…we have flowers…and he tries his ass off…he plays hard….and we appreciate him…don’t you?

He's solid

I just still think that we need a #1 corner. Face it, our secondary is awful. We need three new players in the starting secondary with Flowers being the only one that should stay.

We need a safety much more than we need a Corner...

and if our D line could get pressure our corners would be much better by virtue of not having to cover for so long?

He's more than solid

Carr is solid, Mike Brown, Maurice Leggett and Donald Washington have more work ahead of them if you wanna name people bad in the secondary… Carr saved a TD and had an OK day, Flowers tackled like a champ and disrupted multiple plays and kept Witten from much of anything, IF anything.
Flowers is our top guy on D IMO.

Agreed

Carr should of had the pick too but Miles Austin made the good play and ripped it away for a catch. I noticed they where picking on Washington and Legg all game depending on who was in.

Brandon flowers

they should move him to safety. i think he would be perfect.

by fujirio on Oct 13, 2009 12:55 AM CDT reply actions

if we do that

imagine what the situation at cornerback would be like. speaking of safetys, Mike Brown was responsible for those two Mile Austin touchdowns. I rewatched those plays a couple of times and Leggett was trying to swat the ball as well as tackle which I really cant blame him for, but Brown took horrible angles and should have prevented an 8 yard catch from turning into a 60 yard touchdown. Eric Berry is gonna look great in a Chiefs uniform, at least I hope thats how it works out

There's no way

He would the smallest safety in the NFL, but I agree, safety is a huge need for this team. We probably need two new starters.
