This helps ease the pain a little by looking forward to a better chance to win next week. :] Their o-line is already thin...I smell blood!

I bet there's a similar fanshot on the redskins page right now

“Chiefs starting LT Albert was hurt, they are really thin on the OL… I smell blood”

:)

* "I doubt anyone will miss Connor Barth except UCrawford"
* the LB corps may become the biggest strength of the Chiefs in 2009
* The OL is NOT as bad as you think it is... give it time, and you'll see improvement this season

haha forreals

I wouldn’t be surprised ;]

I hope the NFL cracks down on the hit that injured Albert though. It was a dirty Pollard Lunge from a Cowboy defender on the ground…

they'd crack down if Albert was a QB

so… yeah, i dont’ see anything coming from it

I just hope he’s ok

Seriously!!!

Finally, someone besides me that saw that! That dude on the ground intentionally hit Albert’s leg, and meant to hurt him. It was nothing but a cheap shot. Not many people seemed to notice, though.

I noticed that too

I said it in the gameday thread. There was nobody else near him pushing him or anything and he intentionally lunged right into the back of Alert’s knee. He was looking right at what he was doing. Dirty ass play by Olshansky period, he should be fined for that

"they'd crack down if Albert was a QB"

Or if he was playing on a different team. Seriously, this team gets no breaks from the refs. The botched Dallas fumble call, The bad call on Carr last week for the unnecessary roughness penalty, the call on Gilberry in the Raider game, that’s all bogus. What really pisses me off though is that any time we are inside 2 minutes and a Chief receiver makes a catch, the refs want to “take a look at it” and see if they can find a reason to take away a good play from us.

I have never seen a team get the stepchild treatment from the NFL like the Chiefs do. I was actually thinking of doing a fan post about it.

I agree 100%

I cannot remember a game when they used to check every single catch. Bowe TD catch? How the f… could you not see that it was legit? What exactly where they looking at? That was way too much. Someone needs to do something about it. All those plays happen at the worst possible time.

Every single one of those plays I mentioned cost us bigtime.

Two of those plays cost us the game. That fumble yesterday was in FG range. That extra 3 points would have put us ahead at the end. It might have been a TD? I guess we’ll never know for sure.

Stepchild...maybe RED uniforms don't help with the whole "red-headed stepchild" thing...

ADHD also states that ginger kids shouldn’t be discrimated against either. each freckle is like a kiss from an angel…

I agree with you 100%

Lets all write the commish about it! Im tired of people hating on us!

Doesnt sound paranoid to me

it really seems like they are out to get us. I wanted to rip someones head off last night watching sportscenter. they where talking about the penalty the Cowgirls got for hitting Wade in the head with the shoulder acting like it shouldnt of been a penalty… from what I understand any blow to the head on a defenseless wide out is a penalty and that we got away with a free one. Obviously they didnt see that bogus call on Page. Damn that play never saw any playing time on sportscenter but by god the cowboys does b/c it “kept” us in the game screw the haters! I actually laughed yesterday when the ref got hurt haha

I laughed too. I said to my wife, "I hope all the refs get hurt" after the blown fumble call...

That shit pissed me off.

What kills me though, is how does Goodell not see this as well? How is it that the larger market teams get ALL the calls, even when they are playing in KC??? If I were Todd haley, I would file a formal complaint week in and week out until they start getting the calls right. The fumble call cost us that game yesterday. I truly believe that.

And yes, I agree. Those assholes on Sportscenter suck??? I have never seen a team who hasn’t won a playoff game since 95 get their dicks sucked by the media like Dallas does. They aren’t even that good. Aikman and Buck were the same way yesterday. talking about how desperately the Cowbitches needed a win? The Chiefs are 0-5!!! That makes absolutely NO SENSE!!!

I agree with you all the way 1970.

The thing that really burns me is that the comish was at the game yesterday! Damn it! It makes me so damn mad!

the shit that pisses me off about the refs

is that they are free to make all the shitty calls they want. The ony punishment they get is having to write a letter and possibly not being picked to officiate playoff games.

Seriously if you are going to fine players for doing shit wrong, or players/coaches for criticizing refs after games, then you MUST also fine refs for blatant bad calls. I can understand if they just missed something but how many letters are we going to get?

The call on the hit against Wade was BS too…too many BS calls in this league now days.

Yep, he was up there hangin out with Jerry Jones and gave a nice standing ovation when Austin won the game.

You would think he would at least TRY to be a little more objective. Especially when everybody in the world can see it.

AMEN 1970...you said the truth right there brother...

That’s a fact in the NFL period…elite teams get breaks…shit teams get none usually. Especially us. That call against the Giants allowed Eli to score on the next pass play…it was bullshit…

Letters of apology don’t change the final score. Now I know I’m the last one to make excuses and if this was another team I’de say too bad they shouldn’t have been in a position to have one or two penalties decide the game …but that’s not us. We’re not a good team..we aren’t going to ever be in a position of a COMFORTABLE lead this season…at all … ever.

So when little things matter so much because of our lack of talent, then those calls, those horrible bogus calls do cost us more than yardage…potentially the game even.

I have seen horrible officiating this season. All the way around, but the refs are almost seemingly out to get us. It’s horseshit.
