And Behind Austin

Mike Brown should be making the Six Million Dollar Man sound (always done when he’s running in slow motion).

Totally unrelated but...

Anyone hear what Brandon Albert’s status is?
He actually played pretty well today.

Everytime I saw Smith getting pushed around in his place...

I was yelling “Albert better get a pair and get back in there…hurt or not”…

it's not like Albert would have done much better

In fact, he’s been possibly the worst lineman on the squad save maybe Goff. Albert is having one of the worst sophomore slumps I’ve ever seen this year. He better pick it up or he’s going to be trade bait pretty soon.

by jonnyu on Oct 11, 2009 11:03 PM CDT up reply actions

They Won't Trade Him

They’re unlikely to get much in the way of value and his problems at this point may be coachable.

Then again, the Chiefs do have a crappy coaching staff. Always seems to come back to that.

Herb Taylor went…. He may not have been starter quality… but I remember him putting in some solid minutes last year

They dumped him before the season.

by callmesir on Oct 12, 2009 12:01 AM CDT up reply actions

Because He Wasn't A "Parcells" Player?

Just my suspicion…Haley seemed all too eager to cut players just because they didn’t come out of his little clique. I didn’t really get it either. He wasn’t really starting material but seemed a capable enough backup tackle…better than Wade Smith anyway.

Damn… here comes another one..those damn bean burritos

Predictions as of 06.24.2009.

Larry Johnson will be a top 3 fantasy pick once again in 2010 (after a monster season in 2009.)
Dwayne Bowe will be a 2009 Pro Bowl selection.
Brandon Flowers will have at least 6 INTs in 2009 season.
Todd Haley will have a sideline shouting match caught on TV yelling at one of his asst. coaches.

by 58 was my friend on Oct 11, 2009 11:42 PM CDT reply actions

I Hope That Prediction Four Of Yours Comes True

It would at least give me hope that Haley’s looking internally at what he’s doing as a potential problem instead of just blaming the players.

you really think pollard would have stopped him??? puhlease!

Pollard might have missed on that play,

but there would have been a chance that play would have never happened, because Pollard would have nailed him earlier in the game. Brown hugs people and hopes they fall. Pollard lays wood.
