Around SBN: Kentucky Football: Tee Martin Reportedly Leaving for USC

I have been a KC chumps fan for over 20 years, never have they been as horrible as they are this year!!! I wanted to beleive that haley was going to change things. Well thatt's a wash. He's worse than ole Herm, who we all kicked to the curb. What's with this useless QB? He sucks!! We were better off with Thigpen, or maybe even Broken Croyle.

Todays game was sad, I'm ready to go back to Marty Ball, at least then we had a defense. If our team is not the worst in the league which one is worst?

I don't know if I can stand to watch this team lose 16 games this season, and don't kid yourself, we are well on our way.

Nothing personal

It’s just the system we have set up here. We don’t want to take away from the folks that take some time and write well thought out, researched posts. Shorter ones like this have a spot, too.

Unless we improve dramatically

The poster will be right. We have to stop hoping and praying and do something to win. we are 2-28 right now. We are pushing 2 wins for 2 entire seasons (2 more games). Thats disgraceful. Now, I like Cassell, but he needs help.

The million dollar question is

What do you do to win now?

It is a crime that a personnel “genius” like Pioli couldn’t recognize how bad our offensive line was and didn’t do anything about it. Now its too late for this season.

So what do you do to fix the worst offensive line in football? Can’t run the ball. Don’t have time to throw the ball very far.

Our defense is horrible, but they keep it close enough that if we had any kind of offense at all we could get by. But we don’t. The only reason we haven’t been absolutely blown out of every game this year is all the mistakes the other teams are making.

Today is a perfect example. We got two gift turnovers from the Cowboys where our defense did nothing to cause it and just fell on the ball and yeah we got some points out of it.

But if not for those gift turnovers, we would have been practically shut out of the game until the 4th quarter.

What do we do to fix it? I just don’t see what we CAN do.

you're right. Its not going to get fixed

this year. Probably not next year either. Too much needs to change

The only measure of true success in the NFL is the Vince Lombardi trophy. Anything less is a rationalization.

   3) Detroit
   4) Oakland
   5) Cleveland
   6) Buffalo

Um the Browns won a game

and nearly beat the Bengals last week. I hate to break it to you all but the Browns are better than the Chiefs. Their defense is coming around.

Really??

You know Derek Anderson went 2/17 last week? That’s JaMarcus Russell style. I’d take the Chiefs over that any day.

by Joel Thorman on Oct 12, 2009 8:24 AM CDT up reply actions

From what my Dad told me

the receivers were dropping balls and it wasn’t really Anderson’s fault. I am not saying Anderson is a stud but I think he is a perfectly servicable QB with some talent.

I think the Browns are better than the Chiefs right now because as pitiful as their offense has been, they have played very good defense the last two weeks. The Chiefs Offense might be a tiny bit better than the Browns right now but their D certainly is not.

Uh...

Oakland beat us and 3 other teams on that list have wins.

I appreciate your insght NJ Chiefs Fan...

Do you really believe Oakland is a better team than the Chiefs? I was at the game, and while I was disappointed with the outcome at no time during or after the game did I believe Oakland is a better team.

Detroit, Cleveland and Buffalo all do have a win as you pointed out, but I think the Chiefs will end up with more wins than these teams by the end of the season. That is why when responding to the original post asking what teams the Chiefs are better than, I gave my opinion. Your detailed analysis has made me see the light though…. thanks again

I would also liek to point out

that to be taken seriously perhaps the poster could learn to spell the name of his football team. Cheifs? Really?
