Some Good News on an Otherwise Rough Day
The Chiefs no longer have A. Toomer, and neither does my girlfriend.
She had her surgery on Thursday and it took a good seven hours, but the doctors were able to remove 99.9% of the tumor (they had to leave a bit that was on the vein that drains blood out of the brain because it was too risky to go after it there). She'll have to go in for a few follow up MRIs to make sure everything is going well, but it looks like she's in the clear now. She is still in some pain, having some headaches and feeling very weak, but she is recovering pretty quickly and was released from the hospital this morning. I just wanted to thank all of you who kept us in your thoughts and prayers, it really helped us get through this whole ordeal.

Congrats!
Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!
I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.
