I thought todays game was somewhat of a conundrum.
I was very impressed with Matt Cassel. He got assaulted today and hung in there all day long. He definetly brings leadership to the team and his team mates have been more and more vocal about this.
I was also pleased to read Page's comments in the Star today around how the players really want to win and improve and they are focused on improving and winning.
Also I have realized more and more how bare the cupboard really was when Herm and Carl got their pink slips. Wow....what happened to the last three draft classes. We traded Jarrod Allen for what? siiiggghhh
Legget is over matched big time and the Cowboys exploited him all day long.
I am beginning to have serious doubts about Clancy as our D-Coordinator. I was neutral on him at the beginning of the year and am now on the negative side. Comparing what he has done to what Mike Nolan has done in DonkeeLand...no comparison as Nolan wins hands down. I also think Krumrei (spelling ?) is weak as a D-Line coach. Bye bye Tim.....I hope....
I will say this to close out. I personally have confidence in Haley as a HC and as an OC. He has a solid record as a play caller and he seems to really be growing as a HC. Listening to him talk at any time, he seems to have a very high football IQ in my opinion.
I hate to see the Chiefs lose week after week after week............still, I firmly believe they will improve as the season progresses and be a much better team in December than they were in September.
Now my only hope is that Jerry Jones's and Daniel Snyders of the world don't get their way and do away with revenue sharing in the NFL. Rumor has it that this is a strong possibility and if it happens, the league I love so much will be permanentl damaged.
Go Chiefs.... Go get one in Washington and put Zorn back on the hot seat.
