Via the mothership, we have this week's inactives for the Kansas City Chiefs:

  • Matt Gutierrez - 3rd QB
  • WR Quinten Lawrence
  • CB Mike Richardson
  • RB Dantrell Savage
  • G/T Ikechuku Ndukwe
  • WR Bobby Engram
  • TE Jake O’Connell
  • LB Pierre Walters

Ndukewe had a neck stinger earlier this week and he was listed on Friday's injury report so his snub his no surprise. TE Jake O'Connell and LB Pierre Walters have been inactive for a few weeks now, as has WR Quinten Lawrence.

CB Mike Richardson is brand new as of last week and a special teams body so his scratch is also no surprise. DE Wallace Gilberry was listed as probable on Friday with a head injury so it's good to see him not on this list.

WR Bobby Engram is a surprise scratch and I'm not sure what happened. More than likely it's just a numbers game.

Cowboys inactives are after the jump.

Star-divide

  • 7 Stephen McGee - 3rd QB
  • 11 WR Roy Williams
  • 28 RB Felix Jones
  • 36 S Michael Hamlin
  • 43 S Gerald Sensabaugh
  • 64 G Montrae Holland
  • 77 T Pat McQuitan
  • 98 LB Curtis Johnson

Ndukwe...

That one really hurts us. If Goff continues to struggle, we will have a long day…
Its a bummer about Engram. Hopefully its nothing serious.

to be fair...

Ndukwe was inactive last week, and has yet to be moved to RG, as far as I know…

so it shouldnt impact this game at all

Engram seems to be the odd man out on this WR corps. I bet he’s not hurt, just not in the gameplan

I just dont see how Copper is better than Engram.

Why is he even still on the team? I thought Ndukwe was practicing with the 2nd team at G…or was i just imagining that? I dont really remember. But i still think Ndukwe should start.

I hadn't heard that... but I hope Ndukwe IS

practicing at G, and setting up to take over Goff’s job

Wasnt it you who told me (When we were talking about the draft for next year)

That Ndukwe was a good G in Miami? I probably just got mixed up and thought he was practicing at Guard. Oh well. Special teams play…hmm, i see Engram around the ball on the time on Special Teams. But i dont even know Coppers # so i couldnt tell ya about him Lol.

yeah, we've been chatting it up about him being a good RG

but, I haven’t heard of him being moved there yet…

Copper is #10, though you wont’ see him doing much

Copper over Engram

Special teams play perhaps?

So...

Bowe, Bradley, Wade, Copper?

Ryan, Pope, Cottam?

yeah...

I’d MUCH rather see Lawrence on the field rather than Copper

bobby

Time for Bobby Wade to shine in the slot!

im guessing

they want to showcase wade in the slot. they had been splitting him wide

wade

Wonder why? He’s agile/quick enough to get open fast, seems to make most of his catches in the middle of the field.

I dont think Wade is fast enough...

Kind of seems better to have him at Slot.

slot

Yea, I meant fast enough for the Slot. Had an early morning and bad clarification on my part. Sorry.

That sucks....

Seems like they need to work more with Lawrence…Too much talent to be inactive every week. I understand that he is rough around the edges but the skill set is there.
