Chiefs Make Job Offer to Pioli
The Boston Herald has picked up the story about the Chiefs offering Pioli the job. They are still citing 610 Sports, but having a real newspaper pick up the story makes it seem a bit more legit.
MSNBC also picked up the story. Cites 610 Sports.

And as the Star reports, the Chiefs are likely Pioli's only remaining suitor.

Yes we do but
Good post. Glad you mentioned it. It’s very interesting to me that the Boston Herald is picking up on this, relative to 610 Sports’ legitimacy. I’m very interested in local media, their influence and how news travels on the internet.
Thanks.

Curious wording
The Boston herald says this at 11:36 PM:
However, the station cites sources who claim there are two major sticking points the sides are still haggling over: money and control over football operations.
Primetime posted this at 6:35 PM:
Sources to 610 Sports say the two sticking points include money and control over football operations, specifically the coaching staff.
And you wonder where the Herald got that…
It's still spreading

Yeah
Read the rest of her article.
She took it straight from my post last night. No credit. No link. And I KNOW there was no one else who had this story before us (on the web).

I read the whole thing primetime
I put it there for Chris since he’s curious as to how things get spread around on the internet.

I've reached the point
Where I’ll believe something about this search when it comes from Clark Hunt or Denny Thum when joined by a third person at an Arrowhead press conference.

I really like this site
and think everyone here are great and knowledgeable Chiefs fans. One complaint I have is the often multiple postings of the same topics. This is the 3rd Pioli contract offer post on the front page of the fanposts. The reason it bothers me is that then it pushes down other topics off the list that others might not get to read. It just seems like it’d be better for the site if there was one post on each topic, maybe even 2 if there are new developments.
Just an observation and take it for what it’s worth, not a big deal but thought I’d throw it out there. I’m not around here as much as a lot of you but I do like this site and enjoy reading everyones inputs. Go Chiefs.

we just get so antsy in our pantsies!!
I’ve been guilty of doing it in the past… you hear/see something that is so fresh and breaking and you’re almost sure that nobody here has heard this sweet kernel of brand new fresh out of the box, new car smell news… you rush over and make a post!! Then about 15 minutes later as you’re reading through the fanposts you realize that someone posted the same damn thing as you about 10 minutes ago. Even worse is when there’s one on the front page.
If you’re lucky (or give a poop), you hop in there and delete the post. If you’re busy or just forget then you leave a temporary scar on the face AP in the shape of your belated-ass, old-news fanpost.
