Whispers continue to get louder that Patriots' Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels is the front runner for the Broncos head coaching vacancy. As I have done with all the candidates, I reached out to my SBNation brethern to find out their thoughts on each candidate.

Yes.
He is, and he is very good with quarterbacks as well. And I don’t hate him, so there is no way the Broncos can hire him!
home, of the....CHIEEEEEFS!

I'm not sold on McDaniels
Seems a little raw and inexperienced.

i would
really like to see mike shanny, as our HC with pioli and bring in McDaniles for the OC and QB’s or maybe an assistant HC

I hope that's a joke...
I would kill something if Shanahan became our new HC, I’d prefer to find our own rather than pick up Denver’s trash.

The best thing about Pioli coming in and cleaning house
farewell Dick Curl – I’ll even be okay with Herm getting canned if it means we get rid of Curl.

First off
Mcdaniels is not going to leave his once in a life time OC gig to come take the exact same job where he is less likely to succeed…Suggesting he could possibly come here as an OC is very naive and will NOT happen..I’d bet my life savings on it..
Secondly, I would love for Shanny to be ouR coach…Denver’s trash is actually one of the best coaches in the game and always puts together a competitive team..Oh and He’s won two superbowls..Yes both with Elway, but how many did Elway win without Shanahan..ZERO….So that arguement can be argued both ways..Regardless I think Shanahan’s demise was that he had to much control..Let Pioli be the main talent evaluator for this team along with Shanny, and let Shanny do what he does best COACH….

Unless
Pioli comes here, and keeps Herm for one more year, then promotes McDaniels to Head Coach. Maybe keep the Jackson’s and Sharpton’s off our back for getting rid of Herm.
We need a future defensive leader, his name is James Laurinaitis and he can be selected in round 1 of the upcoming Draft.

Hiring McDaniels for Denver makes little sense
First off they already had an offensive guru who apprarently had a weakness for defense..They fire him yet hire someone else who has never proven to be effective at coaching before ever yet has shown as a coordinator he is very talented on the offensive side..Yet what about Defense
Firing Shanahan was a bad move..Their really just aren’t any better coaches out their at this point..If I we’re them I’d bring in Marty because he atleast knows how to coach a defense..I think the next team Marty coaches will finally begin winning some play offs games
