Adam Schefter Disagrees
But this much has been confirmed from multiple people who know Pioli:

After all this speculation, after all this guessing, all three options still are in play, at least in the minds of some familiar with the process. Pioli still could wind up in Cleveland. He still could wind up in Kansas City. He still could return to New England.

NFL Network

And by all three options he means CLE, KC and NE.

Most Of The Info That's Leaked Out

Indicates that Kokinis is going to be hired as soon as the Ravens are done and that the interview is mainly a formality. If Pioli wanted to go to a franchise where he was second fiddle to the head coach, why not just stay with Belichick. I think Cleveland’s definitely out.

I knew that…

That quote is from this morning…guess too much happens too quickly.

That would mean

Kokinis is off the table as well. Mangini has been talking to assistant coaches from the jets to move to cleveland the last couple of days. The Browns were expected to announce friday that Mangini will be hired as the new HC.

No Argument Here

That’s about the most snake-bit franchise in the league. As much as Marty had his meltdowns versus Denver here, they were nothing compared to the losses he had while in Cleveland in the AFC Championship games. Byner fumble, The Drive…I’m not generally superstitious, but I’ll buy that they’re cursed.

In Fact

It’s probably because of how Art Modell ran Jim Brown out of town by being a dick about his contract. Like the “Curse of Bobby Layne” in Detroit.

There’s no such thing as an actual magical type curse, but eventually that stuff builds up.

browns

I was just so tired of hearing them being the sexy pick last year like they were super bowl contenders and how they were going to explode this year and take it all . The sad thing was they were playing the raiders every week. Same thing with the fins everyone is like on the jock straps then they got to the playoffs and faced a play off team with a real D .If you look at who the fins played they lost to all playoff contenders and beat us . Im pretty sure they will be the sexy pick this coming up year.

They beat the teams they were supposed to beat

That’s more than most franchises can say. And, by the way, their division included an 11 game winner that DIDN’T make the playoffs…it’s difficult to say they won because of their schedule.

They Had A Challenging Schedule This Year

And let’s face it, the Dolphins have never done well in cold weather games over their franchise’s history and yet they beat us here at Arrowhead in a bitter one.

Some years you can make the case that the AFC East gives away their division title…not this year, though. But I do think they’re going to regress next season if they don’t get younger at a few positions (and especially if Peterson ends up there).

Split With The Pats And Jets

Not a bad performance. No shame in losing to the Ravens either. We’ll see if they’re a one year wonder next year, though.

I Suspect It Will Be

I wonder if it’s kind of like when the draft picks are holding out for their new contracts…everyone’s waiting to see how high the first guy to sign sets the bar.

But since the GMs have more freedom in where they go it’s not really the same situation as it is with the drafted players.

I think Mangini getting hired

Will affect whether Pioli would go to Cleveland or not though. That also leaves whoever he would want for a coach out there. I think he will come here as long as his coaches are available.

Greg Knap went to Seattle to

Work for Mora jr. No more competent coordinator for the Raiders!

Lets hope Clark lets the new GM start fresh, with his guys. Who would want a coach, who has lost twice as many as he has won in KC?
