The Chiefs will have an easier time trading the #3 pick...
If Crabtree has a monster combine. I think that everyone has seen what he can do on the field and is already high on him. He is easily a top 3-4 pick already. If he can put up solid numbers at the gombine and have a strong pro-day it would only benefit KC. HE WILL NOT GET PAST Seattle at number 4. If he can up his value even more than it is already teams will be jumping at the chance o grab him before seattle can. i hope this happens. Hell even worse case we tell Seattle if we can't find a trade partner we are gong to pick him. Maybe we can trade down 1 spot and pick up an extra 3rd round pick or something.

I completely agree with this
But remember Jeremy Maclin will also be there top ten, it’s probably unlikely that someone would trade down a large number of spots if they think they can get Maclin for a cheaper price in terms of both draft picks and dollar value.
Maclins there but
Crabtree is a “can’t miss” prospect there hasn’t been this much hype about a rookie since Reggie Bush. Crabtree makes Maclin look like a pop warner player. But the stupid pay roll rookies in the top 5 get is ridiculous and is the reason why trading down is going to be near impossible, especially since this draft runs DEEP at WR and teams may have to settle for second and third best for fear of the cap
I agree
I agree, but I think their chances are already super-high:
1. It fit’s Pioli’s profile to trade down
2. Crabtree is SUPERIOR talent for position
3. Crabtree will not drop past 4
5. Lot’s of teams need a WR
All the conditions are already right — and I don’t believe there’s any doubt the league knows what Crabtree is. Big Game Catch baby. Show me the money.
Chan Gailey is the only guy with the balls to draft Tebow as a HB/TE/2nd QB and actually USE him that way -- alongside a pure passer to help bring on the future of the NFL -- the ghey-ly named 'wildcat'. Remember Kordell (slash)? Gailey took the talent and made it work.
It sounds absurd but I swear if you saw my chalkboard....
Crabtree/Bowe...our future!
Whoever said, 'It's not whether you win or lose that counts,' probably lost.

I agree
I’m not sure more picks would be better than having Crabtree. Unless of course we can get multiple first rounders, but there is always a chance those picks are busts.
uh huh
but more firsts equals less chances for a first round bust. I’m all for filling in more holes on our team if it means passing up on Crabtree, we can pick up a Fitzgerald or we can become a Patriots…. I like the Latter. Don’t give me this “well who’s in the superbowl?” crap cuz who has been and still has a legitimate chance to be in the superbowl the MOST this past decade?
Although I AGREE we should try and trade the #3 away....
I just HAVE to comment on your math.
but more firsts equals less chances for a first round bust.
Actually, having more first round picks would INCREASE your chances of a 1st round bust. It would also increase your chances of having a first round star, or a first rounder who ends up in a wheel chair after getting T-Boned at an intersection by a purple 1972 Datsun coupe with personalized plates driven by a red headed 2nd child of an imprisioned Brazilian born counterfit artist that specialized in forging 1970’s era Playboy magazine subscription cards.
More picks in the first round increases your chance of ending up with any type of player you could name.
However, more firsts would decrease your % odds of having the sum total of all your first round picks end up as busts.
I know — I’m just being a dick now )
